Set in the beautiful New Forest National Park, a haven for wildlife, Black Knowl is within easy walking distance of the pretty village of Brockenhurst.

The site enjoys a woodland setting and is a haven for walkers and cyclists, with more than 140 miles of nearby tracks to explore.

Please only use these recommended directions for the final approach and not SatNav, due to unsuitable roads for towing.

Turn right off the A337 (Lyndhurst - Brockenhust) in Brockenhurst (0.25 mile past Balmer Lawn Hotel) opposite Careys Manor Hotel into Grigg Lane (B3055, Sway, New Milton). In about 0.25 mile continue across staggered crossroads into Sway Road. In 200 yards (past petrol station on the right) turn right into The Rise (signposted Rhinefield, Burley). Continue to T-junction and turn right into Rhinefield Road. Continue for 1 mile (passing Forest Park Hotel). Within 0.25 mile turn right past Beachern Wood car park. Continue on tarmac road (speed ramps). In 0.75 mile turn sharp right. The site is in 200 yards.

Only approach Brockenhurst on A337. Do not use Main St or shortcuts due to width restrictions.

The closest supermarket is in Lymington, about 7 miles away, though facilities are also available within walking distance at Brockenhurst, where a variety of restaurants and shops are on offer. A mobile fish and chip van visits the site.
