Close to the beautiful sandy beaches of the Exmoor Heritage Coast as well as the wilderness of Exmoor National Park, Minehead Camping and Caravanning Club Site has wonderful sea views.
The site is 1.5 miles from Minehead town, Somerset's largest seaside resort, which has a long sandy beach and a variety of shops and restaurants. It is also the terminus of the West Somerset Steam Railway, which travels through 20 miles of stunning coastal and countryside scenery. The club site's pitches include grass spots with and without electric, plus a set of electric hardstanding pitches. Non-members welcome.

Shorter walks are available in Exmoor National Park - a good place to start is the Visitor Centre at Dunster.
North Hill, where Exmoor National Park begins, is just a short walk from the centre of town, where you can enjoy the countryside and with luck you might even spot red deer and Exmoor ponies.
Minehead is also the starting point for the South West Coast Path, a long-distance trail that travels 630 miles around the coast to Poole. The medieval town is also home to a castle that dates back to 1086
