About Nevern Camping

Tucked away amongst 12.5 acres, this peaceful site is framed by pretty meadows and mature trees. Though in a secluded tucked away spot, the site is still within a ten minute drive of the beach and Castell Henllys Iron Age Village, perfect for days out. You'll find nine pitches with plenty of space to sit back and take in the glorious nature surrounding you. Access to the grass pitches is by foot only, but wheelbarrows are provided to help transport your tent and belongings. Each of the non electric grass pitches measures roughly 5m x 5m, mown into a neat circular shape. Up to six guests are permitted per pitch, with separate spots suitable for tents, campervans and cyclists or walkers. Everyone will also be provided with a private fire pit, perfect for evenings under the stars. If glamping is more your thing, opt for a stay in The Cabin, an upcycled vintage static caravan. Sleeping up to four, the cabin is equipped with a double bedroom, twin bedroom, bedding, log burner, lounge, kitchen, dining area and ensuite with a compost loo, shower and hand basin. Outside there is also a seating area and fire pit. Sorry, no dogs allowed. Do note that this site is part of The Greener Camping Club and so at least one member of the booking party requires a membership - this is £12 for the year and can be bought upon booking.

Nevern Camping is open from 01/05 to 14/09.

A note from the site themselves...

It was always a dream to have a campsite, and after many years of city living, I wanted to bring up my children in the countryside and be near to the sea. So, in 2017 we moved to Nevern in Pembrokeshire. We are just ten minutes drive from the coast path, and the beach is our playground!

Sharing a love of nature is our passion, and we wanted campers to be able to enjoy the back-to-nature ethos of the site. Now we get lots of lovely people coming to share this amazing place with us.

I have Welsh farming ancestry and love learning about the old ways of land stewardship. We are using organic and permaculture principles to manage the land, and have been trialling traditional oat varieties as part of Llafur Ni (Our Grains), a seed sovereignty programme. We also rewild much of the site.

Some campers who stayed here recently told me that each time they came down the farm track, they relaxed into the beauty of the place. We hope you love it too, Cleo
