Camp Katur is a small, off-grid glamping village at the Camp Hill estate in Kirklington, between Ripon and Bedale in North Yorkshire. The site offers a variety of unique options for you to stay in at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, including pods, unidomes, geodomes (some with hot tubs and ensuites!), bell tents, yurt, safari tents and even a cabin style eco lodge with its own private hot tub.

About Camp Katur
Just six miles from Bedale, there's a luxury rural haven in the grounds of a massive estate. Go totally off-grid for the ultimate retreat, and bring your four legged friend with you. The glamping village has many types of accommodation, including safari tents, bell tents, a yurt, unidomes, pods, geodomes and the cabin style Bears Place eco lodge. Each option comes with individual furnishings and accessories making them truly unique, and all have their own fire pit.

The glamping village includes a communal toilet and shower block with hot water. There is also a communal kitchen hub on site with gas camping hobs and kettles, seating, games and a mini library. A toy shed is provided for children to enjoy, and outside undercover seating area and mini playground.
There's a cafe bar on site serving local bitters, wines and spirits (opening times and days vary).
Shops can be found in Bedale which is 6 miles away and also in Ripon (7 miles), plus pubs serving food can be found within a half mile of site.

Things to do on site and in the Bedale area
The Forbidden Corner is only 18 miles away from camp and is very popular with families. It's an amazing labyrinth of mazes, chambers, tunnels and follies and provides a great family day out.
Light Water Valley is a theme park for all ages and has its own shopping village and this is only 8 miles from Camp Katur.
Brimham Rocks is known as nature's best playground and you can get lost in the labyrinth of paths finding your own rocks to climb and explore and it's just 20 miles away.
The Black Sheep Brewery is only 8 miles away in Masham so you can take a guided tour and learn how they brew their famous ales.
As you'll be staying deep in stunning countryside, there are many walks to be enjoyed too.
