About Longberry Farm

This small exclusive glamping site provides a luxury escape to Kent's tranquil countryside. Unwind on site, take a stroll to the quaint village of Bethersden (20 minute walk) or drive 30 minutes to Godinton House, Leeds Castle or the beaches at Folkstone. Converted from a disused stable, The Old Stable cabin provides a rustic retreat sleeping up to three guests on a king-size bed and one chair bed. It is fully insulated with electricity and heating, keeping it warm all year round. Inside, you'll have an equipped kitchenette (alongside a larger kitchen area nearby). Outside you'll find a table and chairs, a fire pit and, of course, a private hot tub to soak the day away. With everything you need all on the site, all that's left for you to bring is food and clothing!

The Old Stable is open for bookings between 10th October and 31st March.

Facilities and amenities

Facilities include a modern washroom with a chic interior - hot showers, toilets and washing up sinks. A large kitchen area is close to the accommodation and is fully equipped with all you need, including a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and a toaster.

Right next door is an undercover seating area (the veranda) for dining and offers sockets for charging gadgets. Here, you'll find a gas BBQ and a log store where you can help yourself to wood for the campfire (all included in the cost of your stay).

Games and books are supplied for guests, and 4G signal is generally very good on site, depending upon your network.

Bethersden has two fantastic pubs serving food daily, a local village shop for supplies and a butcher for some fresh meat to BBQ.

A note from the site themselves...

I'm thrilled to welcome you to Longberry Farm, our little slice of countryside heaven! We're a small, family-run business based in the heart of nature. Back in 2014, we left the hustle of Bromley in London to embark on this amazing countryside adventure. Our goal was simple: create a place where people like us could experience the pure joy of being surrounded by nature.

In July 2016, we opened our doors to our very first guests, and since then, we've had the pleasure of welcoming some wonderful people into our tranquil oasis. We're all about sharing the beauty of nature and creating unforgettable moments. So, come join us, unwind, and let the magic of the countryside embrace you.

Warmest wishes, Charmian
