About Wigwam Holidays Saxon Meadow
The site sits within a 300 acre working farm. Its setting is green countryside, not far from the Staffordshire - Warwickshire border and surrounded by a number of historic towns. It's less than an hour in the car to be in buzzing Leicester, and a family trip to the rides at Drayton Manor is only 20 minutes away. Each luxury Wigwam pod has its own ensuite facilities - a shower and toilet, along with a well equipped kitchenette and can sleep four plus room for a cot. There's a fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster and crockery, plus a dining table and chairs so that you can eat together in comfort. For cosy nights in, you also have a flatscreen TV and DVD player. Outside is your fire pit with BBQ and many of the pods also have a luxurious wood fired hot tub. Dogs welcome in selected pet friendly Wigwam pods.
Wigwam Holidays Saxon Meadow is open all year round.
Facilities are en-suite and self contained within the Wigwams. A communal BBQ hut (contact the site to arrange hire of this pre-arrival) is provided on site along with bike racks, a slide, swings and a beauty treatment room. Guests can borrow from a selection of games and DVDs.

Wow, what a gem of a place. Perfect location for my 2 young sons and I to stay as so close to Twycross Zoo and Conkers Adventure Park. We absolutely loved the hot tub, it was boiling hot on arrival. We also loved toasting marshmallows on our fire pit and dipping them in chocolate, it was the perfect ending to a wonderful day. The Pod was exceptional with a TV, cute kitchen area and a lovely bathroom. Furthermore, waking up to a view of the gorgeous cows and beautiful surroundings was a dream. Will definitely visit again and for longer and next time bring our friends to stay too! Thank you to Dominic the lovely lad who helps run the place with his family who made us so welcome.

We stayed in Ethelbald with a hot tub just at the corner of the lodge and it was absolutely fantastic. My husband and I had a well rested 2 nights there. We had a barbecue and the hot tub was awesome and so refreshing. All the basic things needed are in the lodge. Dominic was so helpful and you can contact him or his mother Sarah if there's anything you need and they will be there to help you out. There are DVDs there as well and books for kids. It is also pet friendly. We will definitely come back.

Lovely getaway for the night with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. Very easy to locate key for pod, lovely cupcakes made, chocolates and a single rose on the table when we walked in. Hot tub and views were amazing and so unbelievably quiet - literally felt like the only people there. Friendly staff (sorry that we didn't catch your name) and would love to come back again in summer. Definitely recommend. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Conkers Family Centre and Nature Park is within 8 miles and sure to be a hit with the whole family, come rain or shine. You can get active with more than 100 acres of great forest, and then take things up a notch with boat rides, sky ropes, an adventure play area, climbing activities and much more.
Dig into some fascinating history at Tamworth Castle soon to hold some pieces from the Staffordshire Hoard or bring your little monkeys to meet the lions, tigers and more at Twycross Zoo - it makes for a top day out.
Thrilling rollercoasters, top rides and great food and drink can all be found at Drayton Manor, which is less than 20 minutes from this base.
