Located just 30 minutes from the nearest beach and a half-hour drive from the Exmoor National Park, Brightlycott Barton is the ideal base for exploring the best of North Devon. The campsite is part of an all-grass organic sheep farm, with 23 spacious grass pitches available for guests to choose from and welcomes tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. There are 23 level pitches with electric hook ups (16 amp) and a grass area for tents only, ensuring that all guests have a comfortable and convenient stay. Brightlycott Barton is a dog-friendly campsite, so you can bring your furry friends along to enjoy the beautiful surroundings with you. Site facilities include an amenity block with six showers, washing up facilities, and a wheelchair-friendly disabled room with shower, toilet and wash basin. The perfect location for exploring the local area with Woolacombe and Saunton a short drive away. The campsite has phenomenal views across the countryside and was wonderful for our bank holiday break in the sunshine. The campsite itself is basic but has all of the necessities you need and the changing facilities are very well looked after and clean. Charles is the perfect host and we wouldn't hesitate in booking again if we return to the same area.

Yes dogs are allowed onsite at Brightlycott Barton. Small non electric grass pitches are pet free and dogs listed on the Dangerous Dog Act are not permitted including any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

Yes of course, what's a better way to end the day than being sat around the BBQ. Open fires are not permitted.
