We had a lovely time at the campsite, the staff was kind and helpful. The location is just great, less than an hour driving from all famous Cornish landmarks . The pitches are boarded with tall vegetation offering privacy and shelter. I recommended waking up early and observing the sun rising above the quarry, it is absolutely stunning! Finally the facilities, the campsites share the facilities with the activity park. However there enough stools to accommodate people from both places. Plus the shower and the kitchen were always very clean during our stay.

We booked four nights with electric hook up - our pitch was very private, yet near the facilities. Pros - quiet campsite, clean toilets and sinks, hot showers, good washing up facilities. Great cafe onsite and option to join in activities (extra cost). Cons - shower cubicles were dirty as were the floors in the bathrooms and shower rooms. The sanitary bins were overflowing too.

Very happy with our stay here. Small site, well laid out with clear pitches. Good showers, toilets, clean up area and freezer for ice blocks. We had booked outdoor activies with Via Feratta Cornwall before realising they also had a campsite, and we were delighted to be able to stay on site. There is a lovely cafe overlooking the quarry which has great vegan options.

Very nice lady greeted us on arrival and tool the time to walk us to our pitch. The pitch was round a field with plenty of room in middle for kids to play. Kids loved the slightly overgrown nature trail and play area. Due to weather warnings, we left early one morning and campsite contacted us to check all ok. Didn't do any, but activities looked great onsite. 15 mins to Falmouth and just off a main road so easily accessed.

We stayed here in late July 2023 and even though the weather was shocking (50 mile an hour winds) we had a lovely time. The site was small but perfectly formed, we had an electric hook up so our pitch was off the main field on a secluded huge pitch, it was perfect for out campfire/BBQ to be away from the tent and for our blind dog to have a safe play area. The facilities were basic but absolutely fine, the showers were hot and they were also not too far from any of the tents of you need a midnight wee. We also spent time at the quarry, we did the classic tour and also the zip line safari, Elliott was a fantastic guide for the classic tour and got me round the rocks even though I am old and fat! He is a credit to the team and had tons of patience. Caleb was also fab for the zip line safari. We would definitely stay again, the site was perfect and the activities perfect for my teenagers, it was a good base to explore Cornwall from. There was also a nature walk which my teens did daily while looking for Pokémon, they got more exercise on this holiday than I think they ever have!

Absolutely had the best time. Pretty much had the whole campsite to ourselves. So much wildlife. So much love has gone into this place, everyone we saw or spoke to who worked here were delightful. So simple and as close to wild camping as we like with the kids. I try and book somewhere quirky and less touristy, somewhere the kids will be able to run wild and be free and if there's a café then that's a bonus (The Cornish Barista - Quarryside - wow). We've all said this is one of, if not our favourite we've been to yet. The site is a part of an activity centre and we weren't too sure if it would make it too busy but it wasn't at all. We were going to do some of the activities on offer but couldn't fit it all in. We stayed for 5 days and all wish we'd stayed longer 🥺 even with the awful grey weather! We visited Pendennis Castle, Falmouth, Falmouth Market on the Moor, Gylly Beach, Glendurgan and North Helford, and St Michael's. So much to go and do whether it's wet or dry. Loved every minute ❤️

This was a great stay, we loved the location and the really nice staff! The facilities were cleaned every day and it was easy to get around the place. So cool to have a cafe to get a warm breakfast when it rains hard.

Great welcome on a blustery afternoon. We were the only ones mad enough to camp with the forecast, and the site is fairly exposed being on top of a hill and next to a quarry. However there are some sheltered camping bays so once we were tucked in, we were fine. Andy, the campsite Warden, came around to check we were okay and let us know about facilities and gates etc. He was very friendly and super helpful on our departure when a car wouldn't start! The quarry is great, offering zip wires, climbing and all sorts of other things. Kids loved the mud kitchen and we all love the on-site cafe Cornish Barista :)

This campsite is fairly new and adjoins their charity outdoor activity complex which has been running for some years. Our pitch was secluded / private with plenty space for our kids to run around, there are other pitches with a view of the countryside but not secluded like ours. Toilets/hot showers do look a little tired and could be improved, but it's ok. Best thing about this campsite is the fact it does adjoin the activities complex and has an amazing café overlooking the gorge where the activities take place. We went during half term and booked the kids in for the holiday club they had running (Climbing in the morning, rafting in the afternoon) and hubby and I went on an activity date doing their 3 hour Via Ferrata.
