Offering an adult only, relaxing retreat, receive a warm welcome from the friendly owners, Mark and Tasha. Situated within rural Lincolnshire, you can be sure to enjoy stretching views over the surrounding countryside and clear skies at night - perfect for stargazing. Located between Lincoln City (60 minutes) and Newark on Trent (25 minutes), it's an ideal secluded yet convenient location. Within an hour's drive of Nottingham City and the Vale of Belvoir too. With just five grass pitches, there is plenty of space. All pitches are with metered electric and are ideal for all caravans and campervans. Enjoy the many walks from the site, deep in the countryside, so you can walk for miles without seeing a single road. Dogs are more than welcome.

Do note the site has no toilet or shower facilities.
Claypole is just a five minute drive from the site with great village amenities including, a shop and off licence, butchers, coffee shop and a pub/restaurant, the Five Bells Inn.

We were welcomed by the very friendly owners Tasha and Mark who showed us the pitch and the facilities. Over the weekend they were both very helpful. Easy access to fresh water, bins, and grey/black waste. Well thought out site and very well kept with some pretty touches! Fab views over the fields with lots of wildlife to see. Had a lovely quiet walk to the pleasant village of Claypole which is roughly a mile on some very quiet roads with very little traffic. We had a fabulous relaxing weekend and will definitely be back!

We had a bit of a nightmare due to the incoming storm and the bad rain and wind! We booked this campsite as a stop by on our way to the Lincolnshire Wolds, we had travelled from South East London in a rented motor home. When we got to the campsite, the wind and rain had really started to pick up. We didn't realise our booking had been cancelled due to the field being swamped but Mark the owner let us park up on the hardstanding just in the gates. He was an absolute life saver, super helpful and really friendly! We had no food with us and had just missed the shops, he brought us round some rolls, bacon and eggs and some beer for the evening. He came round to check on us in the morning to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed an extension lead for our motorhome to plug in to the electric. We moved on the next day but would 100% be going back to stay again and would 100% recommend this campsite to anyone looking to stay in Lincolnshire! Beautiful countryside views and lovely owners 🥰

Things to do on site and in the Newark on Trent area
The site is great for walkers, whether rambling, dog walking or bird watching there are plenty of routes to explore. Byways and footpaths link through the countryside so you never have to see a road, or you can wonder the local towns passing by.
Set just outside Newark-on-Trent (20 minutes), make your way into the town and check out the castle with it's stunning gardens or take a walk along the River Trent.
Almost halfway between Nottingham (55 minutes) and Lincoln (45 minutes) there is so much to see nearby. Head into Nottingham for the day and learn the legend Robin Hood legend or indulge in culture with the many museums and galleries. Or visit Lincoln's iconic Cathedral and hit the shops.
