Lovely campsite!

A lovely campsite with plenty of space, checking in was easy and informative, staff were very friendly! Little games area where we enjoyed a couple of games of pool. A nice field at the back to walk the dogs. Definitely visiting again this summer.

A little underwhelming

Unfortunately, we did not have the best stay. We only stayed one night. The family next to us were noisy and inconsiderate. I feel this site is best suited to families rather than couples. The part of the site we were pitched on was a little bit unkept. Other parts looked very well looked after.

Lovely spacious site

Lovely site, really clean and spacious tent .pitches. I would definitely recommend and look forward to booking again.

beautiful site

fantastic site, really clean, well maintained site with friendly and welcoming staff. well positioned in North Wales in easy reach of lots of fantastic activities and attractions. very clean and well maintained facilities. a play park would be a wonderful addition to the site.

Short camping holiday

Great location / facilities for venturing to climb Snowdon and nearby places.

Idyllic location, and campsite.

Wow. We were blown away. First of all, the location; Situated around 10 minutes from Caernarfon, we found that it was perfectly located for all of the attractions within Snowdonia Park, and we ventured mostly along the north coast of Wales taking in Anglesey, Llandudno, and as far south as Betws-y-Coed. The views from the park itself are stunning, as are the walks around the park. The facilities for us were perfect. We were a couple with a dog, so no need for anything other than a shower and a toilet really. We sometimes had a queue, but generally, if that was the case, we'd move to one of the other units, and found we got in to at least one without any wait. The facilities are incredibly well kept. We've been to some campsites and commented on facilities being clean, but they were nothing compared to the standards set by this place. I was thoroughly impressed. Toilets very clean, and stocked - never ran out of the essentials. The showers very clean with HOT WATER - and they were powerful enough too, not weedy and weak like we've experienced elsewhere. The staff were really friendly, from the welcome, to the cleaning staff, to the lad on the grasscutter helping to get some change for the washing machine. Smiling, happy, looks like they enjoy their work - which is really refreshing to see. We will definitely be returning to the site, and have recommended to others already. This is the new standard for us now. Everywhere we visit from now, we will be using this site as the benchmark on how things are done properly.

Decent site

Clean and tidy site. Not much to do on site. The "games room" is a very basic shed with a few things in for the kids, who soon lost interest. The field we stayed on had 1 toilet block that consisted of one shower and 2 WCs to service approximately 50 people, so no chance in a morning of getting a shower early and getting out. Seemed expensive in regards to value for money.

Plenty of space and good facilities

Very clean showers and toilets. We had plenty of space with our tent and it was nice not to be overcrowded. There is an area to play pool and ping pong. Great location for accessing Snowdon / Conwy / Carnaefron. Only negative was we felt a member of staff was a bit rude at check in, but that didn't affect the rest of the stay.

Pleasant

Was okay for an overnight stay, but not a lot around. £51 was a bit more than I wanted to pay. However, the pitches were great and facilities were modern with clean hot showers.

Very fun stay!

I would 100% recommend this park! The park is dog friendly with loads of space and very clean toilets and showers. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The only minus was that our pitch was located next to the road which is very busy during the day. You can also hear cars at night.

Amazing place!

The couple that look after the site are very friendly and helpful. They really look after the place and keep it spotless. Lovely powerful hot showers and good toilets. Nice washing up area, including washing machine and dryer. Beautiful views from the campsite! Loads of lovely places to visit, all a short driving distance from the campsite. Surrounding area with beautiful walks. Would recommend Snowdonia and Conwy. Beddgelert, Betws-y-Coed, Swallow Falls and the Ugly House a must. All in all, North Wales is a breath taking, beautiful and camping friendly place to visit! We will be back :)

Great site

Great, clean site with good hardstanding pitches. The couple who run the site day to day are excellent and very informative. They keep the site immaculate.

Great site

Site easy to find, well laid out, quiet, tidy, clean, very helpful owners. The toilet and shower block was well laid out and kept very clean which was much appreciated.

Excellent find

We had a lovely few days at this campsite, the wardens were so helpful & friendly. The toilet and shower block were very clean & modern. The extra touch of plants and ceiling heater in the toilets was a real welcome. Only being a 8 minute drive from Caernarfon was really convenient too. I would definitely recommend this campsite.

Super clean facilities

Beautiful campsite with immaculate toilets and shower block. Having bikes meant the location was great for joining the route 8 cycle ride. The dog walking area could be improved. No gate and overgrown grass in the centre. Fantastic games room.

Lovely campsite

Lovely campsite. Very clean. Shower block cleaned regularly and up to date. Hot water which was a great bonus! Only criticism would be that the toilets/shower block were not nearby to our pitch. The toilets and shower block were next to the caravans and most of them had electric hook ups, plus their own amenities. It would be have made more sense for the toilet/showers to be near the tent pitches. I would definitely recommend this site though. It was good and the owners/warden helpful and friendly.

Fab site, loved the wildflower meadow where we camped. Super clean wash/toilet facilities. Well maintained, good clear directions on how to get there. I thought Rhyd y Galen Caravan and Camping Park is a good base for setting off to see the beautiful sites...😀

Beautiful site

Beautiful site, well maintained in a beautiful setting. Shower block and toilets spotless. Elsan point very clean. They have 2 big shower rooms for disabled, also a laundry room which takes £1 coins.

Great Stay in North Wales

Everything was great, staff very helpful and the site was immaculate. Highly recommend and close to Zip World where we all enjoyed the Velocity 2 zip wire!!

Clean & organised

The campsite was very organised. On arrival, we received a map of the campsite, which was very useful when looking for the facilities. The campsite was well lit, with small lights along the footpaths and around the tent pitches. Bathrooms/toilets were very clean. There were multiple water taps dotted around the tent pitches, fire pits on site to rent, recycling area and plenty of berries around to pick. In general, a lovely and tidy campsite perfect for couples, families and friends. The only downside for us was that the non-electric tent pitches are right beside a quite busy road, which meant we were kept awake till late and then woken up very early in the morning.
