Sandfield House Farm is located on the outskirts of the North Yorkshire Moors, on the Cleveland Way footpath. It's within walking distance to both Whitby town centre and Sandsend, both of which can be reached by walking along the beach or the roadside. Pitches offer the luxury of electric and many have wonderful sea views - only five minutes from the beach.
About Sandfield House Farm Caravan Park
Sandfield House Farm is an award-winning touring park, with a unique location that makes the park hugely popular. It's a friendly park with a warm and personal touch. Located on the coastal edge of North York Moors National Park, Sandfield House Farm is a perfect base from which to explore the area. The park is just a 5 minute walk from the beach. A twenty minute walk takes you to Whitby and Sandsend is just over a mile away. A selection of hardstanding pitches offer electric and almost all boast tempting sea views, plus there are a small number of grass pitches. Dogs are welcome here - provided they are kept on leads at all times except when on the dog walking field.

Site rules and policies
Pitches must be vacated by 11.00am on day of departure.
Awnings, where permitted, are to the left of your pitch.
Tent and motorhome drive-away awnings are not permitted.
Windbreaks are permitted - one per pitch.
Maximum of two dogs per caravan or motorhome.
Rubbish is to be taken to the waste area.
No washing lines allowed.
Only one car per pitch, to the left of the pitch.
Things to do on site and in the Whitby area
Stroll for five minutes and you're at the beach where you can choose to walk either to Whitby itself or in the opposite direction to Sandsend. The bustling harbour town of Whitby hosts numerous things to see and do. Alternatively, you could pack a picnic and enjoy a day on the beach itself.
Sandfield House is on the coastal edge of the North York Moors National Park which opens up a wide range of coastal and moor walks, including the Cleveland Way.
The North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway is located at Grosmont which is a short drive out of Whitby. From Grosmont you can climb aboard the steam train and enjoy a trip as far as Pickering.
Whitby Golf Course is just opposite the park and guests can get a few rounds in with a reduced rate for park visitors.
