About Laurel Park Campsite

Situated just south of the Wash, Laurel Park is surrounded by miles of quiet country lanes. The grassy pitches, with both electric and non-electric on offer, are a great spot to set up your tent. Or, if you're looking for comfort, the safari bell tents provide cosy double beds. Or, if you're not wanting to bring your accommodation with you, opt to stay in either a spacious safari bell tent or in one of the luxury railway wagons. The site has just two safari bell tents, each sleeping four in a comfortable double bed and two single beds. To make them extra cosy, each of the bell tents is kitted out with an electric heater, twinkling fairy lights, a hanging rail, a chest of draws, a kettle and mugs and an outdoor bench for al fresco dining. You can also stay in one of the site's two railway wagons. The wagons also sleep four in a double bed and a bunk bed, ideal for a family of four. You also have some added extras including crockery, cutlery, a fire pit and an outdoor sheltered dining area. If staying in any of the glamping units, you will need to bring bedding and towels with you. It's a small and friendly site, with plenty of walking and cycling trails, including the National Cycle Network (NCN) cycle route. The nearby market town of Long Sutton is only two miles away for a shopping visit, too. There are also a number of animals on site, which guests are more than welcome to meet. Say hello to English giant rabbits, three breeds of chickens, two pygmy goats and two Mediterranean miniature donkeys. They can't wait to meet you! Dogs are welcome on site.

Laurel Park Campsite is open from 29/03 to 28/09.

A note from the site themselves...

We bought Laurel Park Campsite at the end of 2018, following a near-death experience that taught us that life is too short to not be happy in what you do. And so we decide to make a life-changing move to run a campsite.

We wanted to create a tranquil place for people to unwind and forget about their life stresses, aided by peaceful surroundings, and our on-site animals and yoga barn. We feel we have created something a bit different from the norm, that we are truly proud of, and we love seeing our guests return year after year. We look forward to welcoming you too.

Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric)Jul 2023

What a lovely little campsite. I took my kids and the fact that the owners come round and gather up the kids to help feed the animals and answer any questions the kids might have is a lovely touch. We felt safe in the environment and the plots had ample space with plenty of room to park the car right next to the tent/caravan etc. The toilet blocks are clean and tidy but my only small gripe would be to add a couple more cubicles (I can only speak for the men's) as there was a bit of a queue on occasion. Considering the campsite wasn't overly busy, I could see this being an issue on a particularly busy weekend but fortunately didn't cause any issues for us. Highly recommend.

Site's response

Thanks for your review and feedback. With regards the toilets, we rarely have any issues or queues, even when the campsite is full. We have a higher ratio of facilities to pitches than most campsites and a much better ratio than the requirements of our license. But thanks for thinking of us. Hope to see you again some time soon.
