What a lovely little campsite. I took my kids and the fact that the owners come round and gather up the kids to help feed the animals and answer any questions the kids might have is a lovely touch. We felt safe in the environment and the plots had ample space with plenty of room to park the car right next to the tent/caravan etc. The toilet blocks are clean and tidy but my only small gripe would be to add a couple more cubicles (I can only speak for the men's) as there was a bit of a queue on occasion. Considering the campsite wasn't overly busy, I could see this being an issue on a particularly busy weekend but fortunately didn't cause any issues for us. Highly recommend.

Thanks for your review and feedback. With regards the toilets, we rarely have any issues or queues, even when the campsite is full. We have a higher ratio of facilities to pitches than most campsites and a much better ratio than the requirements of our license. But thanks for thinking of us. Hope to see you again some time soon.

A very warm welcome on arrival, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The park has donkeys, chickens, goats and guinea-pigs that they allow children and adults to handle. Excellent facilities and very relaxing place to stay.

A friendly welcome and tour around the site and facilities upon arrival. A very large and spacious site, spread over three areas. Everything you need on a campsite is there. The gazebos with tables, benches and food prep table are an excellent idea, especially when raining. A warm toilet /shower block with plenty of hot water and no limit on time. The site is quiet and very well protected from prevailing wings by very large hedging.

Great site with lovely owners. Very clean and tidy facilities. Would definitely go back to the site. A young family would love this place with all the animals, and the owners go the extra mile in interacting with all the children and families.Pool room is fab for the older children. We had a great weekend away!!!! Thank you.

We stayed as two families (3 adults, 3 children) for the weekend. The campsite is clean with good facilities. The kids particularly enjoyed feeding the animals and playing in the open spaces. The way the site is laid out provides a more intimate feel (rather than a big car park) but still enjoys plenty of space for the children to run around. Andy and Emma are lovely and made a point of chatting with all the guests over the course of the weekend. Thanks very much!

Lovely small site, never felt overcrowded or too busy. The animals were a great addition. Andy and Emma were incredibly helpful and always checking in that everything was ok. They even helped us out when a piece of our equipment broke on the last night which was really appreciated. They checked in with each pitch every evening which was a really nice personal touch. The facilities were always clean and there were no problems with them, but at times there is a wait for the shower as there is not many. Overall it didn’t cause a problem, but just something to bear in mind. Location was quiet and peaceful but activities require a short drive as there is very little within walking distance, including very few walking trails without a drive first. Again, wasn’t a problem as we didn’t mind driving, but just something to be aware of. Overall it was a great long weekend, and we would definitely want to stay again.
