About Re:treat Glamping
A luxury family friendly countryside getaway for those looking to reconnect with nature. Expect to see barn owls, red kites, foxes and herons around the waterlily pond. Comprising a single, self-contained safari lodge for seven, you'll have 16 acres to yourself. The luxury lodge sits atop a spacious wooden veranda from which to enjoy the views. Inside, a large wood-burning stove inhabits the hub of the open plan kitchen, featuring butler sink with copper taps. The dining and lounge areas provide ample space. The two separate bedrooms host a four poster and triple bunk bed between them. A quirky king size 'den bed' adjoins the living area, with space underneath for storage, playing, or den making. On the rear deck of the lodge, two private bathrooms house the toilet and hot shower. These are accessed via separate zipped doors from the rear bedrooms. Enjoy the mature trees in the old orchard or play a game of cricket, there's plenty of space. For a bit of 'me time', seek out the pond-side summerhouse or jetty or relax in the rocking chair, lost in a good book. You can even bring your rod along and fish for carp, tench and rudd in the pond (permits available upon booking). Sorry, no dogs permitted.

Facilities are en-suite and self contained within the safari tent.
The Cross Keys is within a mile and there are many other pubs in reach too. For picking up provisions there is also a Co-op in the nearby village of Silsoe which is a 20 minute walk away.

A luxury safari tent including a king size bed, a single bunk and a four poster bedroom with space for a cot. It has private decking with a veranda, BBQ and ensuite facilities.

Things to do on site and in the Pulloxhill area
For younger guests a pedal tractor and trailor and pedal go kart are parked up on arrival and a hamper of toddler books and games can also be requested free of charge. You'll also find a crafting basket with activity sheets and crafting supplies on the shelf as well as a bug spotting kit and pond dipping kit for spotting little critters.
The games chest is well stocked with a wide variety of family favourite board games including monopoly, scrabble, dobble and risk. Meanwhile, there's also a great supply of games for outside including table football, swingball, rounders, cricket and a kite to fly on windier days. Other favourites are the giant jenga and molky - an addictive skittles game.
Private restorative yoga or meditation sessions can be booked in the peaceful surroundings of the site during your stay with Rachel at Adventure Yoga. You can book a wide variety of classes from vinyasa flow to meditation or a fun filled family session with the kids. Rachel even provides mats so all you need to bring is yourself!
Guests can also book a fabulous family/group photo session in the beautiful surroundings of the glampsite with Kate Elizabeth Photography. Katie uses mother nature as the backdrop to create some truly stunning natural portraits. It's the perfect way to lock in some great memories!
