Nestled in an idyllic location that served as inspiration for famed author J.R.R. Tolkien, see what inspired him when you escape to this rural retreat. This family run farm houses modern and luxurious en-suite Wigwam pods which provide the perfect glamping base for paddles in the River Ribble just five minutes away. Rest easy in the double bed inside your pod and enjoy other home comforts including a well equipped kitchenette, shower room, TV and DVD player. The french doors provide additional privacy, leading out into your own area with picnic bench. Fire pit located outside. For additional luxury, Wigwam cabins with hot tubs are a welcome retreat after a day's exploring. Dogs welcome - maximum of two per Cabin.
Wigwam Holidays Ribble Valley is open all year round.
Cabin facilities are self contained with shower room including toilet, shower, wash basin and heated towel rack. Outside each cabin is a fire pit and logs are available to purchase onsite. Under 12s can enjoy the onsite playground. DVDs are available to borrow from reception.
The shop onsite stocks the basics, including fresh milk, while there are a number of pubs serving food a short drive away including The Black Bull and The Shireburn Arms.

Stayed here for my first solo trip with my dog, couldn't fault the place. It was a lovely getaway, so peaceful and with amazing views. If you enjoy walking and being outdoors, this is the place to go. There are some great sights to see! It's amazing value for money, will definitely book and return again. Thank you π

We've stayed in other Wigwam pods before but this was a new location. We went in with our high expectations for the facilities and surrounded area and we certainly weren't disappointed. Beautiful spot for walks through the Ribble Valley. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. They had thought of all eventualities to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We would love to return in the summer time when the weather was a little warmer so my boys could enjoy the play area.

Me and my daughter loved it. Great little pod, and beautiful surroundings. The hot tub was fantastic. Just the relaxing break we hoped for. Fully recommend. Very welcoming and helpful owners.
