A note from the site themselves...

Our pub has been hosting guests since back in the 1900s. We always enjoy welcoming visitors from near and far with a delicious meal and a cold, freshly pulled pint ready at hand.

We are Nigel and Jean, the proud owners, and we are very happy to be continuing the tradition of the pub. We both look forward to having you stay with us, with the 'Waggon Welcome' extended to all.

Great little spot. Very friendly landladies, traditional pub, great beer, great food and clean facilities. Great location for trips to Louth or Mablethorpe.

Pub lovely but site basic

Motorhome - Electric Grass Touring PitchesJul 2023

Good and service in the pub was great, food was lovely. Good home cooked food at a reasonable price. We felt the campsite however was poor. A small toilet block with no sink so the only facility to wash hands was the same sink other customers wash their pots. One shared shower which was not very clean when we were there. Paid £25, only paid a bit more at other sites which were much cleaner, modern and better value.

Peaceful but basic

Motorhome - Electric Grass Touring PitchesMay 2023

Loved the space, flat pitch, friendly staff in pub. 2 toilets and one shower but don't have a shower if someone uses the taps outside or flushes the loo as it will stop running or go cold as it is all plumbed in the same system. 15 min drive to Mablethorpe beach and about same to Louth. Bus stop outside pub but only every couple of hours. Bit out of the way if no car.
