Captain's House Campervans is a charming family-run smallholding located in Bootle, the southern tip of the picturesque Lake District National Park. Guests can spend their days on the beach (direct access from the site), meeting the small flock of Shetland sheep, and experiencing stunning west coast sunsets and clear night skies. The campsite is also an excellent spot for those looking to explore the national park, with Wastwater, England's deepest lake, and Scafell Pike, England's highest mountain, only a short 30-minute drive away. There are five hardstanding pitches available for self-contained campervans and motorhomes, all of which have been landscaped to offer partial protection from the coastal winds. Each bay features a 10 amp electric hook-up and access to fresh and cleaning water. Please note that there are no toilet or shower facilities. Campfires are allowed, and dogs are welcome.
