About Whorlton Pods
A truly peaceful family-run site where you can enjoy an escape from daily life while looking out over the North Yorkshire countryside. Being sat on the edge of the North York Moors, it's the ideal location for those looking to go exploring or just relax. The site is home to three fully insulated and heated luxury cedar pods. Each sleeping two adults across a double bed with an additional sofa bed that is ideal for two children or a small adult. Do note that bedding is provided for the double bed but for the sofa bed it will need to be added at booking. You'll find an ensuite with a modern shower, toilet and even a heated towel rail with all towels provided. A fully equipped kitchenette provides a double hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, teapot and cafeteria and all the kitchen utensils and crockery to enjoy a home-cooked meal. Each pod is furnished with plenty of home comforts including a smart TV, WiFi, dining table and chairs and plenty of storage space for your belongings. Outside you can enjoy the stunning views with your very own private hot tub. The stone paved patio is great for alfresco dining with a table and chairs, a fire pit and even a comfortable swinging cocoon seat. The site also offers extras such as hampers and decorations for birthdays. Sorry, no pets are allowed.

All pods have an ensuite bathroom with a shower, toilet, basin, heated towel rail and wall mirror.
In the living area of the pods is a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, double hob, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and cafetiere. There is also a sofa and smart TV as well as free WiFi.
The Swainby village store is just a 30 minute walk from the site, and you can find the Blacksmiths Arms and the Black Horse Inn just a 20 minute walk from the site.

The site is a tranquil base where you can sit back and relax while admiring the views of the North Yorkshire countryside. Soaking it all in from your very own personal hot tub and watch the days go by.
If you're looking for more adventure then there is plenty of picturesque walks nearby or bring your bike and check out the cycle trails. Being at the base of the North York Moors you are in easy reach to witness the coastlines and moorlands. The Cleveland Way and Lykewake walks are all nearby too.
For those looking for days out head to the beach at Marske By The Sea. Just half an hours drive away this soft sandy beach is a great place to relax with views across the coast. Saltburn Beach is slightly further along and has a couple of cafes and takeaways.
