The camping field sits amongst 250 acres of working dairy farmland and is the ideal location to enjoy both the countryside and the coastline. About Pitt Farm Camping
Situated in charming farmland, and just five minutes from picturesque beaches, this is the perfect spot to enjoy an idyllic holiday in Devon. The site is family friendly and relaxed, being tucked away in the unspoilt countryside, it is a lovely place to unwind. The site welcomes tents and tourers all on non electric grass pitches. 20 of the pitches allow all unit types and sleep up to six people, whilst an additional six allow just caravans with a maximum of eight people. There are no set pitch sizes, the site just likes for everyone to be well spaced out to ensure maximum relaxation for all. Sit back and watch the world go by or go any make friends with the cows in the neighbouring fields! From the site you have access to the South West Coastal Path, and you can even take part in rock climbing if you're feeling adventurous. You're also in easy reach of Westward Ho! (30 minutes) and Bude (35 minutes). Both BBQs and campfires are allowed, just please ensure they're raised off the ground (braziers and fire pits are available for hire). A maximum of two dogs are welcome per pitch.
Pitt Farm Camping is open from 28/03 to 30/10.
On site facilities include separate male and female toilet and shower blocks, a washing up area and shared fridge storage.
The nearest shop is The Pop In which is ten minutes away. There are three pubs that are all a ten minute drive away in Hartland - The Kings Arms, The Hart Inn and The Anchor Inn.

Lovely stay, very quiet and spacious. The facilities were clean tidy and well designed. Drinking water available in several spots, hot water both for washing and showers. The host was super friendly and available for any requests. Absolutely recommend.

Had a lovely 2-night break over a very sunny bank holiday with my furry buddy. The site is simple, with clean well appointed services and easy to access. Toilets and showers were fresh and clean, plenty of hanging hooks for towels and clothes around the showers and sinks. Recycling and dog mess bins all available on site. Two spacious fields, lined with thick hedges for shelter with relatively flat and well kept grassy pitches. The site was fairly busy being a bank holiday but there was plenty of space and no pitches were on top of each other.

Things to do on site and in the Bideford area
For those who enjoy picturesque, scenic walks you are just five minutes from Harland Devon Heritage Coast, a part of the South West Coast Path. Or, for a shorter walk, take a leisurely stroll through the countryside to Hartland Point Lighthouse (40 minutes) or into the village for a bite to eat at one of the pubs (30 minutes).
You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches. The quiet beach of Blackpool Mill Beach is a 10 minute walk from the village of Stoke. Or, for ones with more amenities and things to do, try Westward Ho! (30 minutes), Sandymouth Bay (30 minutes) or Summerleaze Beach (40 minutes).
For those wanting an action packed family day out there is plenty to keep you busy. The Milky Way Adventure Park (15 minutes away) has rollercoasters, mini golf and a museum of sci-fi memorabilia. Or, head to The Big Sheep (25 minutes) with rides, pedalos and a tractor safari ride!
