About Marshwood Copse

Nestled within a small enclosed copse, this glamping site offers a peaceful and private atmosphere in Somerset. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the sea and the Quantock Hills, you'll even have a clear view of the West Somerset Railway heritage steam train, which runs around the neighbouring fields. Set in an excellent location, the site is within walking distance of Blue Anchor Beach and two local pubs. Plus, it's only a 10-15 minute drive to the historic towns of Dunster, Watchet and Minehead. Here you will have one beautiful geodome, composting toilet and horsebox shower. You will have a comfy double bed, so you'll feel right at home in this picturesque setting. Up to four people can stay in the dome, with extra camp beds available for a small fee, however, as the entire corpse is yours, you are welcome to bring additional tents. The dome provides solar lighting, phone charging, and charming fairy lights that add a touch of magic to your stay. And when the evening chill sets in, cosy up around the wood burner. There are also ten spacious pitches for tent camping located on a separate camping field. Two cosy, furnished bell tents are also set on the camping field. It's a dog-friendly site so you are welcome to bring your furry friend along for the adventure too. As a working farm, you may see large vehicles and livestock around the site, so please be mindful and always keep small children and dogs under control.

The geodomes are available from March to October and camping and bell tents are available from 19th July to 8th September.

Bell Tent - Bell TentsAug 2023

It's quite hard to put into words how much we truly enjoyed our stay. Everything was so lovely from start to finish. On arrival we were greeted by Lisa who showed us around and settled us in to our beautiful bell tent, which was fenced off to other campers in their own tents located in a field opposite. The area was shared with two other bell tents and had a shared fire pit overlooking a small fresh water stream and open field. In the distance, you can see the steam trains passing by and on a clear day, you can also see the sea. It's worth waking up early in the morning and opening the tent doors where you can see the beautiful sunrise right from your cosy double bed. The bell tents also have a wood burner stove, which helps keep you warm overnight. It also allows you to make a cup of tea or hot chocolate, which was kindly supplied in a welcome package along with milk and some tasty home made short bread biscuits. Everything about this trip felt so perfect and the hosts did their best to accommodate for our every need.
