Willey Lane Farm offers a tranquil stay on a small farm, just five minutes from the Herefordshire/Wales border. Guests can unwind in one of two yurts, each fully furnished with a cosy bed, wood burner, electric and even a double hob for cooking up a tasty meal. Outside you will also have seating, a BBQ and easy chairs for kicking back, along with a private bathroom nearby. Enjoy views of the surrounding woodland, countryside and scented lavender!

About Willey Lane Farm
If you're looking to escape the crowds and be surrounded by nature, then this could be the ideal spot. Set amongst 92 acres of farmland, you can enjoy access to many walking routes with views of countryside, woodland and even fresh lavender which lets off a wonderful sweet scent! Each of the two 16 foot diameter yurts is set on a level platform amongst the orchard. Lavender yurt can sleep up to two guests with a king sized bed, whilst Violet can sleep up to four with the addition of two single pull-out mattresses that are stored under the king. You will also have a wood burner to keep you nice and toasty, along with electric lighting. For cooking indoors, there is a twin hob cooker, with all of the crockery, utensils, pots and pans you will need. A table with bench seating is provided, along with a USB charging point. To make the most of the views, there will be a table and chairs for four, great for al fresco dining, along with two easy chairs for kicking back and soaking in the sun. A fire pit is included too, great for toasting marshmallows in the evening! Nearby is your own private bathroom with a flush loo, hand basin and shower, along with a private washing up room. Presteigne is the nearest town, five minutes away, with several cafes and restaurants, supermarkets, a greengrocer, a deli, a butcher, antique shops and pubs, ideal for a morning stroll or evening out. Please note, this is a dog free site and no amplified music is allowed. On arrival there is a £10 deposit to pay for your key, this will be returned on departure.
Willey Lane Farm is open on the following dates for 2024: 12/04 to 25/04, 07/05 to 11/09 and 21/09 to 13/10.
Each yurt has its own private bathroom with a loo, sink and shower, plus a private washing up room.
For any essentials, there is a Spar a ten minute drive away. The Royal George pub is also just a five minute drive away or a 35 minute walk.

For days out, National Trust - Croft Castle and Parkland (25 minutes) is a popular local spot. The 11th century castle offers over 1,500 acres of parkland to explore, along with regal rooms and beautiful artworks.
If travelling with little ones, then Small Breeds Farm Park (20 minutes) is perfect. Enjoy up close encounters with furry and feathered friends, and even see some red squirrels!
The historic Ludlow Castle is within a 30 minute drive, great for history buffs. With a history dating back to 1066, learn all about the castle's rich history and enjoy glorious views over Shropshire.
