The banks of the Great Ouse form the boundary of the club site at St Neots, giving you the chance to stroll along the riverbank to the town, passing meadows, pits and lakes that are a haven for wildlife.
The area has a number of parks and nature reserves, including Hinchingbrooke Park, which has more than 170 acres of grassland, meadows, woodland and lakes, Grafham Water, a Site of Special Scientific Interest where you can enjoy watersports, walking and a cycle route around the lake (bikes can be hired) and Paxton Pits Nature Reserve, with wildlife trails and a host of activities during the year. The town of St Neots is less than two miles from site, with a good range of shops and restaurants, a museum and a market. Non-members welcome.
