What an absolute gem of a site, beautiful surroundings and within easy walking distance into Malpas. It was Coronation weekend and we were delighted to find there was a village fete on, later we had a lovely meal at The Lion pub. The owners of the site couldn't have been more helpful and although no showers on site, the toilets were immaculate. We would happily recommend this site, it ticked all the boxes.

This is a lovely, clean and tidy site. The staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Malpas is only one mile away- a lovely little town with loads on offer, near nice pubs and eateries. I shall definitely stay again.

Excellent place to visit. Very friendly owners greeted with smiles and welcoming gesture. A perfect campsite they have worked hard to achieve what they have, and nothing is to much trouble for them. Only downfall would be Elson point needs light on at night, so would help if having to empty your toilet. 5 STARS otherwise.

This is a very nice site in a very nice location. It is lovely and clean. Owners are great and a courtesy call was given prior to arrival with some directional tips. Nice big field for walking dogs.

Lovely little site. No road noise whatsoever, beautifully kept, the owners are very keen for you to enjoy your stay and were very knowledgeable on where to visit etc. Toilets were immaculate. Could do with maybe another 1 or 2 toilets as I'm sure when full, the 2 that they have maybe an issue, although on our visit it was quiet and we had no problem.

A lucky find, whilst browsing, managed to find a site for the Jubilee week. The hosts were brilliant, the site itself is well laid out and feels spacious. There are some great walks directly from the site, including access to a long distance bridleway. Malpas is a quaint village, with a friendly atmosphere. I can 100% recommend the site and we will be back.

Very warm welcome. The owners rang us the day before to advise on the best route in to avoid the narrow road. Nice peaceful layout and clean toilets.

What a little gem! Our first stay but certainly not our last. A small but beautiful adult-only site, very pretty and well kept, in an amazing location. Whitchurch is a 10 minute drive, Wrexham 25 mins and Chester 35, and only a 20 minute walk into Malpas where there are convenience stores and 2 pubs. Beautiful views and run by a really lovely and genuine couple. There are 2 toilets on site but no showers. This really wasn't an issue for us as we use our own facilities. All pitches are fully serviced so we were able to shower in the caravan with no issue. We will definitely return.

What a lovely site in the Cheshire countryside. Only been open 20 months but the owners have done their homework and is a perfect set up for caravans and motorhomes. All pitches are fully serviced and receive full sun for most of the afternoon. Lovely peaceful site and a nice quiet walk into Malpas in fifteen minutes. Will definitely be returning.

This was our first visit to this caravan site. It certainly won't be the last. What a wonderful site! This caravan site doesn't try to cater for your every single need. What it offers is sublime peace and quiet, beautiful views, an enormous dog walk (a whole field which is more like two fields!!) for the dog to be off the lead and a very friendly atmosphere. There are plenty of walks and the nearby historic village of Malpas (5 minute drive) is stunning and has ample shopping for food stuffs and meals out. Try out the chippy and The Old Fire Station (cafe). What this site offers is excellent attendance from the owners Anita and Jezz and the perfect escape from the daily grind. Thank you Jezz and Anita for looking after us so well.

This little treasure of a campsite is going to be very special, you can really appreciate the hard work that is on going there. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area, we had some lovely walks with our dog Herbie. On arrival we were taken to our pitch and shown the facilities, we were also told that we could use the field opposite the pitch to freely walk Herbie while on site. This was perfect, the view from the top of the field was breath-taking. There is a safe walk to the village of Malpas from site. Malpas has some beautiful interesting buildings, also The Lion Hotel is very dog friendly. This is definitely a site that we would be very very happy to return to, and Herbie "woof" love to go back as well. Very well done to The Happy Pheasant. And thank you for having us.
