Easter camp

We stayed for one night over the Easter weekend and had a lovely time. Very flat and sheltered orchard setting with amazing amenities. A lot of love and hard work has gone into making this a fantastic campsite - don't miss the phone box shower! We will definitely be back later this year. Thanks so much for a great camping experience despite the rain!

Lovely quiet place

Lovely campsite, nice and quiet. Dave is a wonderful host.

2night stay

A lovely small site set amongst trees. The owners are very friendly and attentive. It's a quirky site with a phone box for the shower. The location is good for exploring Cornwall.

Perfectly quirky

Absolutely loved this site - off grid, but close to amenities & easy access to nearby coasts and towns. The owners were lovely - nothing was too much trouble - felt like visiting friends & camping in their garden! There's a lovely shepherd's hut & self-catering holiday lets available too.

Peaceful

Basic, but perfect for us with 2 dogs.

Lovely place

Was so impressed by this place, really relaxed and in a beautiful setting. Will definitely be recommending it to friends and going back to stay when I'm next visiting the Falmouth area.

Amazing

David's campsite is beautiful and has some very unique features, my favourite being a hot shower in an old-school phone box! David is a fantastic host! I can't wait to return. Thank you!

Tranquil gem

Lovely little campsite. Started with a wonderfully warm welcome from Dave, the owner, who was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Campsite has a wonderful feeling of tranquillity and we felt very relaxed and rested.

Quiet orchard heaven

I stayed here in Autumn whilst visiting a poorly friend nearby and was the only camper at this small site. Owner was very friendly and welcoming, and provided everything needed, almost before I realised I needed it. It was wonderful to be able to have a good wood fire in the cool evenings, and a warm sauna was also a treat. I recommend the breakfast choices at the garden centre next door.

Penventon house stay

Lovely place to stay, easy access to all major road, lovely cafe just up the road, nice and peaceful, easy to find.

First time camping for a week

Absolutely great experience from the host Dave the location the facilities everything about this place is great. We have booked for next year all ready. We can't recommend this place or people enough... Ten stars from us thanks.

Not good

This place is not really suitable for camper vans. The driveway is very narrow, windy and hard to manoeuvre. Unfortunately we weren’t able to get our camper onto a pitch either and had to park it in the car park over night. It had been wet for a few days and access to a pitch is from a grassy muddy verge that really needs tarmacking. We tried several times! We decided to stay somewhere else for the remaining time. We didn’t feel comfortable there. The other campsite we stayed at also had wet weather but laid down stones to ensure vans didn’t slip and slide. We were pretty disappointed not to receive any help or assistance from the owner. The facilities were really dirty and outdated as well. We actually cleaned the washing up area when we arrived. Seeing as we were in the height of covid—19 at the time I expected better levels of cleanliness.

Lush

Loved this site, private and tucked away and total tree coverage as it was a hot week, the amenities are not state of the art but good enough, would go again.

Great quirky campsite

Set in the gardens of penventon house , this small site has everything you need for camping. Shower, toilet and a small complimentary tea house with kettle, microwave, plug etc. There’s even a sauna which is a added luxury! We spent both nights sat around the fire pit with other campers exchanging stories and having the odd drink! Location is fab too, easy access to top beaches within half an hour. Will be returning next year for sure!

Quiet area, garden at the back of the House

Quiet area with average size garden at the back of the House with few designated places for tents. Looks like a hidden place between trees. We loved this kind of privacy and wilderness. Some things could be improve, but for anyone who chooses a tent over a hotel, this place would be good enough. Nice garden at front end with a lot of flowers, plus a friendly and helpful owner.

Perfect countryside break

Secluded pitches in the owners beautiful and wild garden. Owner was lovely and even gave us a lift to the pub to watch the football. We also used the sauna which was great.
