Very cosy stay with lovely hosts. Perfect location for nice walks but a little outside of Durham City. The hut contained everything we needed, was warm at night and bed had a comfy mattress.

Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's HutSep 2023

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely stay at Apple Tree, so much so, we didn't want to leave. Paula greeted us on arrival. The hut was clean and cosy, once we got to grips with the wood burner, we were warm as toast. We are coming back x
