Relaxing, short getaway

We've just come back from a short getaway from Wigwam Eden Valley. The pod was well prepared, clean, warm and very homey. Adam is helpful and friendly. He welcomed us with a pre-heated hot tub upon our arrival. This was our first time in a pet-friendly pod, it was truly a relaxing and peaceful two-night stay with our lovely cat. The pod has a kitchen, toilet and a shower. Has a comfortable bed, and a small TV. Outdoor has a communal BBQ and a hot tub. Just a side note that the Wi-Fi has a weak signal but it did not bother us because we were there to enjoy nature and the outdoors. Also, the pod has so many USB plug sockets. I recommend visiting Windermere and taking a cruise to Ambleside. We have enjoyed our weekend her and would use a pod again! Highly recommended.

Wonderful break

We had a 2 night stay in the accessible glamping pod for 5. We added on the hot tub and are so happy we did. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of room. The pod was spacious and clean. We were happy to find little added extras such as a small basket of biscuits, teas and coffee, plastic wine glasses and lots of cutlery. We were greeted by farmer Adam, he was warm and welcoming and happy to chat. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and he went out of his way to have a card and cupcakes waiting for her. He offered to take us to see the calves, which we all enjoyed. The location was nice, quite close to a few walks and a short distance to a wonderful pub. We enjoyed the hot tub both nights, which was lit and ready for us each night! We wouldn't hesitate booking again as it was so quiet, Adam and his wife are very welcoming.

Absolutely brilliant

Everything was perfect. The hot tub was heated ahead of our arrival and everything was sparkling clean, with plenty of cutlery, plates and glasses. The location is super peaceful and has gorgeous views. 10/10 recommend.

Amazing

What a amazing time we had here, we had one night here and the location is amazing, had regular updates on when it will be ready and we went out and he kept the hot tub hot for us to get back and yes it was very warm but so relaxing, would definitely come again

Lovely and quiet

When we arrived the Hot tub was already heating up and is big luxury and very much appreciated after a long walk. The cabins are spacious and very clean. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing

The pods are great it's so relaxing, very clean and cosy. Beautiful scenery and the people who run place are so nice and friendly. Our car broke down and the farmer and their neighbours went above and beyond to help us. Would definitely stay again. Hot tub is a must, came home feeling very relaxed 😌

Amazing stay

Was an absolutely amazing stay. The pod was ready for our arrival with the hot tub pre-heated. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The site had very good communication with us before arrival and whilst there, and were happy to help with anything. We would 100% recommend this stay. The perfect country retreat with breath-taking views.

Had such a lovely stay!

Had the most perfect stay in such a peaceful location, but not too far from shops and a pub! Adam was super helpful and kept our hot tub warm whilst we were hiking in the Lake District not too far away. Will definitely be returning and couldn't recommend it enough.

Relaxing Easter break away

Well hosted and looked after. Would recommend the Pheasant Inn just down the road for food.

Peace and quiet environment

We stayed at Foxhole and the place was clean. Everything was ready for us when we arrived, especially the hot tub and the barbecue kit.

Lovely stay

Had a lovely stay at Eden Valley, the pod was extremely clean and well presented. It had everything you could need with a small well equipped kitchen, lovely comfy bed and amazing woodfired hot tub, which was ready for when we arrived. The site owner Adam messaged the evening before and the morning of arrival to inform us about the pod and hot tub. Can't fault anything about this site and will definitely be returning in the near future.

Perfect stay

The host Adam was lovely and helped us out with everything we needed. We got a free upgrade as the site was quiet, which was a great surprise. The hot tub and fire were great assets and the overall stay was very enjoyable. The location was great with a lot of grass for the dog to run around. We will definitely be coming back again.

Beautiful

From start to finish everything was perfect. The view is just beautiful and the pod is very clean, nice and warm and has everything you need. The hot tub was already warm when we got there and Adam was really friendly and helpful. The stay was exactly what we were hoping for and more and we didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back.

Amazing, relaxing experience

We went for 2 nights with our newborn for some family bonding time and weren't disappointed. The pod has everything you would need for some amazing glamping. The area was so peaceful and the hosts were really attentive. We are already looking to book again and can't wait to return. Would 100% recommend this place.

Great stay! Would definitely recommend!

We had a brilliant stay! We stayed for one night with a hot tub. It was hot and ready for us on arrival. We went to the local pub for a few drinks. We will definitely be coming back!

10/10 stay!

Lovely stay! The property was clean and spacious with a lot of storage. We have had an amazing stay using the hot tub. For a small additional fee, the staff decorated the cabin for my fiancé's birthday, which felt so personalised. We loved being out in nature and being on a farm felt so peaceful. It was lovely to see the cows up close and personal. We 100% recommend.

Great stuff

I was after a quiet chilled retreat and got just that. The pod was lovely, surprisingly warm and cosy. There weren't any non pet pods left when I booked, but I wouldn't have known that this one was a pet-friendly pod as it was very clean and odour free. The owners were friendly, they popped in to check if we were ok and if we had any questions etc. Then they left us to chillax. We really enjoyed the hot tub, it was great fun starting the furnace, keeping it going and watching the temperature rise. We set it away at lunchtime and it was still red hot 7 hours later when the fire had died. It was the first time that I'd been in a hot tub that didn't have bubbles, I quite enjoyed that. I didn't have to shout over noise to speak, it was all calm and chilled.
