We had a lovely stay

Beautiful and peaceful pitch in the orchard. We had a very friendly welcome and they were keen to share local knowledge which we appreciated. We were only there for one night so didn't really make much use of facilities but it seemed to have the basics that one would need. What a beautiful part of the country and how lovely to spend the evening among the apple trees!

Well worth the stay!

We arrived from London at around 3PM and after a long drive we were dreading carrying our gear up to the pitch. Howard was very kind in offering to help tractor our stuff up for us. The orchard is beautiful with stunning views. The facilities were pristine. The nighttime was very quiet and calm. Huge thanks to Howard and his family for making our stay memorable.

What a treat!

Gorgeous setting! Such a treat camping between their beautiful apple trees. Best ever shower!! Loveliest hosts. We'll definitely stay again. Thank you!😃

Stunning vista amongst the orchard

I booked Bowhayes Farm as a quick camping getaway, without really checking the farm or location out. Safe to say we were extremely happy to find that when we got there, the tent pitch was nestled amongst the orchard! The host, Howard, was a lovely gentleman who went above and beyond to make our camping experience wonderful, with helpful tips and pointers for the local area. The visit was enjoyed so much that I am booking to camp here again next week.

Quiet campsite, lovely setting and very welcoming owners

Lovely quiet campsite set in an orchard. Owners were very welcoming and friendly, offering us suggestions on things to do and checking we were ok as there happened to be a large storm during our stay. Nice warm shower which let you enjoy the natural light as you showered. Kitchen and fridge was useful to store and prepare food inside away from the rain and there's also a nice covered hangout area to eat, play games etc. Looking forward to the new additional shower coming soon, hopefully we'll stay again. One suggestion: have some local cider available in the shop to buy!

Stunning experience

Highly recommended. Great walks from the site, beautiful land and lots of wildlife. The hosts were knowledgeable, super helpful, and approachable. We already looking to book up again and for much longer, as 1 day wasn't enough to appreciate the site and the area!

Loveliest people & place

Fiona and Howard were so welcoming and friendly and were more than happy to make sure we had everything and knew everything we needed to when we arrived! The location is perfect; the orchard is beautiful, the calmness was ideal and we could not has asked for a better place for night 2 of or stay! We loved sleeping amongst the apple trees. Thank you both sooooo much, we will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway

Howard and Fiona were perfect hosts, so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for a complete getaway, this is the place for you. Our pitch was set within the orchard and our view in the morning as we opened our tent was idyllic. Peaceful and tranquil- a real treat. Thank you to you both, we will definitely be returning.
