Set in patchwork countryside, presided over by green hills, the Dorset beaches are only a half hour away from this location. When you fancy a day in town, Blandford Forum is just 25 minutes away in the car. Rent your very own chicken coop or your stay with two chickens and enjoy freshly laid eggs. The farmer, Mike is always happy to have a chat with guests and show you around the farm so you can learn from his expertise of farm life in the British countryside. Dogs are welcome onsite.

As the spring rolls around the farm is thriving with cheeky lambs looking forward to meeting you, and in the season you can be hands-on in helping them. In the surrounding fields you're likely to glimpse deer, or watch owls and foxes come out at night. Wildlife fans will have plenty to keep them happy in this part of Dorset.
Up for a challenge? The nearest hill, Bulbarrow, is all of 274m above sea level and offers views just as lovely as you'd expect to reward you for your climb. There are more stunning walks nearby, particularly with Cranborne Chase, Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so close.
For a day at the beach you are only half an hour from some of the South Coasts most stunning beaches, including Ringstead and Lulworth Cove.
