About Manor Farm

This working family-run farm is tucked in the unbeatable South Downs National Park, by the village of West Worldham. A peaceful countryside escape with stunning views over the old farm orchard but only a short 25-minute drive from Basingstoke and an hour from London. The cosy canvas lodges are great for up to six people, with a double bed, bunk beds and quirky cupboard beds. Inside is fully furnished and equipped with everything you could need including a wood burning stove. Outside is your own private seating area and camp fire. Choose from two en suite canvas lodges, with indoor toilet and shower or five lodges with outdoor showers and the ultimate luxury of a private hot tub. Looking for a getaway for two people? The log cabins are complete with a cosy double bed with full furnishings inside as well as en-suite facilities and an outdoor porch with seating and a camp fire. The farm is home to herds of cattle and sheep, in the spring months watch the farm come to life with the lambing season. Enjoy a freshly prepared English breakfast hamper for your stay, using locally sourced produce. Dogs are welcome on site.

Site facilities include well maintained showers, an honesty shop, a communal area and a pizza oven. The frills lodges include either en-suite or separate shower facilities and the log cabin has self contained facilities.

FAQ

Arrival is between 4pm and 6pm. If you expect to arrive later than this, please do inform the farmer as there is no on-site reception. Check out is 10:30am unless a late checkout has been pre-booked and agreed.

Yes, two well behaved dogs are welcome. Do note that due to being a working farm dogs must be kept on the lead at all times while on the farm and can not be left behind in the accommodation.

Yes. You can fit a travel cot in the accommodation. You can also hire one from the site for a small fee. Due to limited space, only one cot per lodge is allowed.

The wood-fired stove inside of the accommodation will keep it warm and cosy. It is important to regularly add some wood. During the night, the site would recommend bringing warm pyjamas and perhaps some extra blankets and a hot water bottle.


Hop on the farm buggy, which will zoom you around this spacious farm and let you join in with daily checking of the animals.

Frensham Ponds is 20 minutes from the site and is perfect for wild swimming or boat outings. For a stretch of sandy beach West Wittering is perfect and just an hour away or head to hayling Island, known for its windsurfing opportunities.

The Watercress Line puffs along through the pretty scenery of Hampshire, which you can join from the platform at nearby in Alton. Thomas the Tank Engine quite often visits, as does Santa at Christmastime.
