Theobalds Park Camping and Caravanning Club Site is set in lovely woodland with open camping areas, yet is only a half-hour train ride from London and its numerous attractions. Outdoor lovers will enjoy nearby Lee Valley Country Park, which is great for walking, cycling, fishing and bird watching, and you can also take a boat on the River Lee. Further west, Epping Forest contains more than 6,000 acres of woodland,
The site is a convenient distance north of London's buzz, with good transport links. It's set within countryside, but access is easy thanks to the handy M25. Theobalds Park's pitches range from grass to hardstanding bases, both with electric available. Non-members welcome.
