Family and dog friendly campsite in the Kent countryside, Turners Folly Field is ideally located just 25 minutes from Canterbury. There are a range of off-grid accommodation options from large grass pitches for tents, or for those wanting less hassle there are bell tents and Emperor tents. Betteshanger Country Park is great for walking and cycling routes only ten minutes from the site, or the coast is reachable in just 20 minutes!

A very enjoyable stay in a comfortable and comprehensive bell tent. Very friendly hosts and fellow campers too. Lovely to have the fire pit and BBQ on hand and the wind guard helped massively when using the camping stove. The toilets and showers were both clean and functional. Nicely designed as well. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely little place to call home for a few days, 30 mins walk away from a vineyard, a few great pubs, and the town of Ash. The site is nice a peaceful with gorgeous views of the countryside, some of the nicest facilities I’ve had in a while and with no electricity, on a clear night, the stars are beautiful. Great location to other short days out like Whitstable, Margate, Broadstairs and Dover. Will definitely return!

This was our first venture into camping and we loved it. Lovely, peaceful site. Clean facilities. Hot showers. Friendly welcome. Generous pitches. Beautiful walk to the local village pub was a high point on Saturday evening. Ideally placed within reach of the coast. Can’t wait to return. Thank you 👍

We absolutely loved our stay here! The bell tent was really lovely and had everything we needed. Our favourite part of the trip was doing some start gazing and seeing lots of shooting stars! Check in nice and easy as well :) Will definitely be coming back.

Booked as a family to go with another family. Newer site. Good size plots, plenty of space for kids to play on grass. Generally quiet from 10.30pm. Facilities very good - 5 toilets, 3 showers, 4 sinks/mirror area and 4 washing up stations all solar light at night, rarely had to wait to use anything and nice hot water. Helpful and friendly owner. Set in lovely countryside, good view of stats at night, with lots of local footpaths to explore if you want and close to lots of areas to visit or explore. We visited Margate, the RAF Museum & Grove Inn Ferry trip. Several local farm shops nearby too, so can top up on food & BBQ bits if needed. We will be returning, as we all enjoyed our stay, despite the thunderstorm! Great little find. Only comment would be to make clear all cars should be parked at the far end once unloaded, as not everyone was doing this and not clear we were meant to park there. Simple sign & reminder at check in would easily stop this.

Recently had my first ever camping trip with some friends and I'm so glad that we chose Turners Folly Field - what a truly wonderful experience. We will definitely be back again!! Gary & Sara are amazing hosts and provided top notch service. Such lovely people and a real pleasure to deal with. The bell tent we stayed in and the facilities (toilets, showers etc) were so clean and tidy. Every bell tent comes complete with the basics of what you need for camping e.g. gas stove, cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, saucepan, frying pan, kitchen utensils, washing up bowl/cloth/liquid etc plus outside there's your own picnic bench, BBQ, fire pit etc. The location is beautiful too - rural and peaceful surrounded by orchards and fields for walking. On our first night, once it got dark we looked around in awe as we noticed the campsite was studded with fairy lights everywhere round each of the tents. It looked magical! Please dont miss out on booking this place - you wont regret it!! :)

The site was nice, we enjoyed our stay. The toilets, showers and sinks were all good and clean. Gary was friendly and helpful. Enough space for our tent and car. Would stay again. One small grievance/word of advice, the toilets and shower doors do slam closed so if someone is using them late at night/early in the morning then there is a fair bit of banging which if you're staying nearby, will wake you. That's me being picky and would easily be resolved moving the tent away I imagine.

Really brilliant glamping site. The facilities at the bell tent were brilliant with lots of great details, such as the wind break for cooking, the hot water bottles, etc. The washing facilities were also really lovely.

We had a fantastic stay here, the facilities are new and clean. The hosts Sara are Gary were very welcoming and it's a great base to stay and explore the Kent coast. Having no electric wasn't a problem as we have our own power station. We will definitely be back.

A very quiet, green site surrounded by nature and with a gentle walk into the village. Couple in charge are very friendly and facilities are clean and efficient. It would be great to have a small freezer for cool blocks for those of us who rely on the old fashioned cool box system.
