About Chapter Farm Glamping

Situated halfway between the cathedral city of Canterbury and the fashionable seaside town of Whitstable, the site is perfectly placed for exploring Kent. Enjoy strolls in ancient woodland, ambles through historic towns and days on pebble beaches alike, all within a ten minute drive. There are four fully furnished bell tents, each comfortably sleeping four. That's it, no more neighbours and plenty of field space for the family to play in. You can expect quiet nights and no noise, as groups aren't allowed. Inside your tent, you will have futon beds, wooden crates as bedside tables, a luggage rack, shoe storage, and shelving units, plus a gas stove and all the pots, pans, and kitchen utensils you need. Parking is close to the tents, and there are wheelbarrows on hand to transport your gear. For al fresco dining, there's a picnic table with bench seating for each tent. You will also have the option to hire a fire pit which can also be turned into a BBQ to cook up a delicious dinner. Please note, the site is pet free.

The site is open for weekends in May, June and July. It is then open from 12th- 31st August and for weekends in September.

A note from the site themselves...

We love living here it has the best of both worlds. It is rural and peaceful yet close to amenities, you have the city one way and the beach the other. On the doorstep is Victory Wood, named for Nelson's victory at the Battle of Trafalgar - there are outdoor sculptures to find, and sweeping views out across the Kent coastline.

Blean Woods are close by too, with walking trails to follow through one of the largest areas of ancient woodland in southeast England. This really is a lovely spot, full of shady glades, and butterflies, if you keep your ears open you might even hear woodpeckers.
