Smithy Farm Campsite is situated just 8 miles from Blackpool's seaside and Pleasure Beach. It offers a lovely farm setting, with all the fun of an animal park, alongside a tasty farm shop which sells treats on site. Come meet the critters - alpacas, goats, free range hens and much more - then wile away days at the seaside on a break that the whole family can enjoy. Campfires welcome!
About Smithy Farm Campsite
The site is just a short drive from Blackpool and its surrounding area. There are a total of 15 grass pitches with options to include electric hook-up.
Open from 20 March to 7 November
Site facilities include toilet and shower facilities that are available between 7 am and 10 pm, with a £1 charge for showers. There is an on site farm shop selling milk, bacon, sausages, beef burgers, bread rolls, the farm's own eggs, hot and cold drinks, ice cream, snack bars and more. The campsite also has a gift shop, fire pits for hire and logs. There is a play area with pedal tractors at the farm.
There are plenty of supermarkets, takeaways and restaurants all within 3 miles. Fishing is available at several lakes nearby.

Things to do on site and in the Kirkham area
On site, the big attraction for all the family is the farm's cosy animal park where you can feed the animals and experience real farm life. There are a whole host of cute fellows waiting to meet you, including alpacas, goats, Shetland ponies, hens and fuzzy rabbits.
There is also a seating area where parents can relax and watch their children play on toy tractors or get lost in games of tag and hide and seek in this lovely outdoor space.
Blackpool is close at hand and offers plenty of interesting attractions. Thrillseekers should head to the Pleasure Beach or you might like to just relax at the seaside, explore underwater at SEA LIFE Blackpool and stay late for the incredible Illuminations in autumn.
