Miltonhaven Seaside Caravan Park is a certificated site set in quiet countryside right on the coast. An idyllic touring base, bring your tent or tourer and explore this beautiful part of the country, just two miles of St Cyrus and nestled between Dundee and Aberdeen.
About Miltonhaven Seaside Caravan Park Certificated Site
The site is situated just off the A92 and halfway between Dundee and Aberdeen, making it an ideal starting point for exploring the area. There is space for up to 21 tourers and tents, with 16 electric hook up points available too. Awnings may be erected when space allows at no extra cost. Half of the tidal bay surrounding the site is sandy with rock pools and shingles, attracting a variety of seabirds as well as marine life. Pets are allowed with motorhomes and caravans but must be kept on a short lead at all times due to the close proximity of free range farm animals and wildlife. No pets allowed with tents.
The site is normally open from April to October. Due to Coronavirus, they are only accepting bookings for caravan and motorhome guests with their own onboard facilities.
Facilities include toilet and shower units (£1 for 10 minutes), laundry room with coin operated washing machine, tumble dryer, hair dryer (20p) and iron. There's also a children's play area and 'The Kabins' function room with TV and pool table. WiFi available. The proprietors own nearly a mile of foreshore where pets may be exercised.
A small shop onsite stocks fresh milk, bread, free range eggs etc. There is a seafood restaurant, pub and shops in Johnshaven village two miles north.

Site rules and policies
Please note that we do not accept dogs in, or with, tents and that pets are not allowed in any park building. Football and hard ball games are not allowed on the park.

Things to do on site and in the Montrose area
The owners have two donkeys, Joseph and Alex, a Toggenburg goat called Elsie, two Hebridean sheep, chickens, a white deaf cat, and numerous wild ducks, moorhens, heron and other visiting wildlife on the large pond.
You won't have to travel far to see more wildlife as the St Cyrus National Nature Reserve is just over two miles away with a wide range of birdlife and bugs. Explore the trails and stroll along the sand dunes too.
Afterwards, laze under the sun at St Cyrus's sandy beach and top up your tan.
