About Glenesk Caravan Park

Angling for some Angus fishing? Pitch up and cast off at its loch in the middle, home to tench and roach, then pack your rod for salmon and trout fishing on the nearby River North Esk. You can also enjoy wildlife spotting from the loch shore, wander around the unspoilt woodland or tackle the many excellent hill hikes within walking distance. There are a total of 80 pitches onsite, including 5m x 9m grass pitches for tents, and 5m x 10m hardstanding pitches for tourers. Each allows up to six guests, and tourers can also choose to opt for electric with a 16 amp hook up. Camping pods come in two sizes and can accommodate four or five people. These are wooden structure pods which are fully insulated and come with beds and mattresses, but please supply your own bedding. The pods also come with a little fridge, electricity and heating inside to keep you nice and toasty. When it's sunny, the well-equipped park playground should keep the kids occupied while you get on with the serious business of fishing/lying by the loch spotting red squirrels. The cafe is also open five days and is ideal for enjoying a tasty breakfast or lunch, or simply getting a coffee to enjoy on the outdoor deck. Evenings can also be spent cooking up a delicious BBQ, just please ensure to keep it raised from the ground. Ground campfires are prohibited. Four-legged friends are welcome to join you for your stay too, with up to two permitted per pitch or pod. The site is also home to a range of seasonal pitches and static caravans.

Glenesk Caravan Park is open from 29/03 to 27/10.
