About Dunbar Camping and Caravanning Club Site
Edging a nature reserve brimming with wildlife and a sandy coastline, this site enjoys a fabulous location. It's a peaceful space for a beach holiday, or for animal lovers to get to know Scotland's coast. Spectacular landscapes surround the campsite, ensuring wherever you are pitched you have a stunning view. There are a total of 115 well laid out pitches, including hardstanding and grass options. Non-members welcome.
Open from 1 April to 31 October
Facilities include well maintained toilets and showers, with a family and disabled shower room. There are also dishwashing facilities, ice pack freezing, space for ball games and a designated dog walk.

Things to do on site and in the Dunbar area
Local attractions include East Links Family Park - which has animals and a narrow gauge railway, plus the Museum of Flight at East Fortune.
A 3.5 mile walk follows part of the John Muir Way coastal trail, and you can visit his birthplace in Dunbar. The town itself is less than three miles from site, with several places to eat and the lovely Whitesands Beach. It also hosts the Dunbar Pipe Band Championships in April/May and a traditional music festival in September with street music, live jazz, pipe bands and more.
Just across from the site, in very easy walking distance is the Whitesands Nature Reserve, the perfect place for rambles and bird watching with a wide range of great species.
This connects to a geology trail, with guided walks available during July and August.
For even more wildlife encounters, head to the Scottish Seabird Centre in North Berwick, where you can see puffins, seal pups and dolphins or take a wildlife boat trip.
