About Smith's Yard Glamping

This rural site is set on a livery yard at the edge of a beautiful rural village. The site offers just two bell tents that they are excited to be able to offer for your next glamping break. Both the tents are situated behind a large hedge that gives privacy from the movement of the yard and enjoy beautiful scenic views with the sunset directly in front of you. Each tent can sleep up to five people on luxury airbeds that look and feel like a real bed. They are equipped with all your bedding and extra blankets for you to snuggle under the stars listening to the owls hooting and the fire crackling. Electricity is supplied in both tents with a lamp for lighting and extra plug holes for charging etc. Both of the tents come with a fire pit/grill to cosy up to and even cook up a BBQ. A few logs are are supplied and more can be purchased on site if required. There is a communal bathroom with an electric shower and toilet for your use, please bring your own towels. For cooking, there is also a shared kitchen with a gas hob, toaster, fridge-freezer and microwave for you to use along with all the utensils you would need. Tea and coffee are also supplied for that much needed first brew of the day. Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times, but there is an enclosed arena that can be used for them to stretch their legs. Four stables are also available for your horse during your stay, this includes straw bedding and turnout in the field by the tents. These are separate from the livery stables and fields for your peace of mind.

The site is open for weekends across May to August and in September.

A note from the site themselves...

Matthew and Jane have lived on this yard for seven years now and love the peace and quiet you get on a lovely summer's evening. Whilst it is a livery yard it can get really quiet here in the long summer days and so they have decided to share this experience with those that may not have this on their doorstep as it really brings peace to the soul!
