The Limeburners Camping
The Limeburners Camping offers a peaceful stay, within five minutes of Billingshurst and the South Downs National Park. There are a number of grass pitches for tents, campervans and motorhomes, some of which have electric hook up. For glamping, there is a heated camping pod for those wanting something a little extra. You'll be surrounded by picturesque countryside and walking routes, with Horsham within a 15 minute drive too.

About The Limeburners Camping
Nestled in the scenic Sussex countryside, the site provides a great base for days of walking or exploring. You will also be within a 30 minute walk of the amenities of Billinghurst, including charming pubs and cafes. There are grass pitches for all types of tents, caravans and motorhomes, some of which include electric hook up. Additionally, there are two camping pods, each for up to four people. Both come equipped with central heating, a double bed, sofa bed, plus a fire pit, and small dining table with chairs outside. Each also feature a patio with outdoor furniture. Please note that guests must provide their own bedding. Dogs are welcome, and with South Downs National Park just around the corner, this is the perfect retreat for dog walkers. Please note that the pub is currently closed.
The Limeburners Camping is open all year round.
Onsite facilities include toilets, coin operated showers, and a washing up point.
Please note, the onsite pub is currently closed. Less than a five minute drive away is the village of Billingshurst, where you'll find a couple of shops for basic supplies.

Limeburners pretty much ticked every box in our wants and needs for a relaxed peaceful get away in lovely surroundings. The owners were welcoming, friendly, helpful and approachable. We instantly felt comfortable and the camp felt safe. The campsite, despite being right behind the pub didn't feel like it was due to the layout and hedges. It felt like a stand alone campsite but with the convenience of the pub literally a few yards away, where we ate both nights. We were very happy with our meals, which were fairly priced, nice quality ingredients and care taken with presentation. The site facilities were ideal for our needs. The electric hook up worked perfectly, toilets were clean with plenty of soap and hot water, separate sinks for washing up and individual washing and shower cubicles. There's a small additional charge for showers but not enough to break the bank. Pitches were a nice size, interspaced with trees to suit shade seekers like myself on a hot day but plenty of sunshine too. The site was peaceful and quiet, and despite the occasional sound of planes (which was fairly gentle and didn't take long to get used to) or general traffic noise from nearby roads, the predominant sound was birdsong. We loved every minute of it!

The RSPB Pulborough Brooks Nature Reserve is just a ten minute drive away and is a lovely spot to observe local wildlife.
Nutbourne Vineyards are also just ten minutes away, and you can enjoy a tour of the grounds and a taste of what they have to serve. With red, white and sparkling wines, there's something for everyone.
