Set on a working farm on the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, West Hale Gate Glamping has a selection of luxurious shepherd's huts that are the answer for those seeking a high end glamping experience - the perfect escape from day-to-day stresses. The seaside resorts of the coast are a short drive away and at base you can try out the toasty hot tub!
Farm glamping at its finest, West Hall Gate's stays can be tailored with optional extras to offer couples a very romantic and private stay. They're the perfect answer for those who want the outdoor experience, but without any tent hassles. Of the huts, the Lincoln Longwool is more modern than the Blue Texel, which is traditionally styled. Just metres away from these two, you'll find the luxury shower and toilet cabin, stocked with complimentary toiletries and towels. The Swaledale is decadently en-suite and takes luxury glamping to a new level. Designed and made by local master craftsman, Albert Thundercliffe, the hut is really something to write home about. Spoil yourself and relax in the huge hot tub by day or beneath the stars at nights, with a glass of the complimentary bottle of bubbly you will find waiting for you. Outside, enjoy a BBQ or toast marshmallows over the fire pit. A continental breakfast will help you start the day right, but this can be upgraded to a 'full Yorkshire' for a small additional charge - and there's no better brekkie to be had! The eggs are of course fresh from the farm's free range chickens. Bed linen and towels are provided, including towels specifically for your very own hot tub. A welcome pack consisting of homemade cake and sparkling wine is also included, so nothing will be missing from your perfect stay.
Open all year
The Swaledale has a hand crafted four poster double bed with an en suite shower room with heated towel rail, fluffy towels and robes - and that's just where the luxury starts. Step outside of your shepherds hut to find your very own hot tub.
Lincoln Longwool is warm, spacious and furnished to an extremely high standard, with a double bed (which tucks away into a comfortable sofa), table and chairs, a bespoke handcrafted kitchen area with sink, kettle toaster and fridge.
Cosy, warm and inviting with its own log burning stove, packed with character and charm both inside and out. Complete with a double bed, (folds away into a comfortable sofa), dining area and handcrafted kitchen containing kettle, toaster, sink and fridge.
