Slingsby Camping and Caravanning Club Site is beautifully situated between the North York Moors National Park and the Howardian Hills - within easy reach of York, the coast and many other attractions. Visit nearby Castle Howard and Nunnington Hall, on the banks of the River Rye, while the ruins of Rievaulx Abbey and 450 acres of parkland at Duncombe Park are also worth a visit.
A great base for walkers, the site is surrounded by history. The nearby market town of Helmsley has a walled garden dating back to 1758, and Castle Howard is a magnificent 18th century house with impressive gardens and an award-winning farm shop. From its level and peaceful setting, this club site offers a set of grass and hardstanding pitches - all with electric. Non-members welcome.
