Pengoon Farm is a small campsite set in a working farm three miles north west of Helston in Cornwall. The site's no frills approach makes it a great place for getting back to nature and exploring the rural surroundings.
About Pengoon Farm
As a working farm, Pengoon Farm is a great place to get back to basics. With only 25 pitches, and on site owners, it has a family feel. The site is busy but peaceful. The pubs and shops of Helston are only a few minutes' drive away, and the coastal park near Rinsey Croft and Praa Sands less then a fifteen minute drive. The pretty coastal town of Porthleven is five miles away. It is also possible to explore St Ives, The Lizard and St Michael's Mount. Pengoon Farm welcomes all types of tents and tourers, and there is electric hook-up available. The site is dog friendly.

There are four supermarkets and a petrol station in the town of Helston, just three miles away. The Crown Inn pub is a fifteen minute walk.

Things to do on site and in the Helston area
There are walking routes on the doorstep, and a link to the coastal path. and plenty of green space for children and adults to run around in. There is also a central play area for kids.
There are a number of restaurants and cafes within a few miles and a short drive, including the towns of Helston and Porthleven. Helston Railway is a heritage railway line under restoration running vintage locomotives in the summer season. The National Seal Sanctuary and Cornwall Industrial Discovery Centre are nearby, as well as National Trust properties Godolphin and Penrose Estate.
The beach is less than five miles away, and various watersports are on offer. Praa Sands Golf and Country Club is under fifteen minutes away by car.
In early May, Helston is decorated with flowers and the arrival of Spring is celebrated with the Floral Dance.
