The parkland setting of the Edisford Riverside Picnic and Recreation area is home to Clitheroe Camping and Caravanning Club Site, nestled just south of the Forest of Bowland. It's an unbeatable base by the Clent Hills, home to a host of great wildlife. Whether it's the Cotswolds, the Welsh Borders or the sweeping Shropshire Hills that call your name, this is a great starting point.
The site is a mile and a half from Clitheroe itself with great amenities on hand. Meanwhile, the site is wonderfully peaceful, just an easy day trip from the coastline and tucked into a pretty valley. Relaxation starts the moment you arrive here, so take in the attractive views. Pitch up at grass and hardstanding pitches with electric. Or try a glam stay in a spacious safari tent, which is furnished and waiting for you. Non-members welcome.
