The site at Chipping Norton, surrounded by the beauty of the Cotswolds, is the ideal place for a relaxing break as well as a good base from which to explore the attractions of the area.
The town of Chipping Norton is a bus ride from site, and has a museum, theatre and leisure centre, as well as a number of shops, restaurants and pubs. Many of the latter will be supplied by Hook Norton brewery, which uses a steam engine and other traditional methods to produce its beer - see for yourself on a guided tour, though you need to book ahead. Non-members welcome.
