Small Tent - Grass Tent Pitches (Family)Aug 2023

We originally booked to stay just two nights but last minute decided to stay 3 nights. This was easily amended with no hassle. Facilities are no more than you need with drinking water available and the showers always having hot water. We had absolutely no problems when we stayed and loved every minute of our camping trip. We will definitely be coming back next year!

Medium Tent - Grass Tent Pitches (Adult Only)Aug 2023

The road into the campsite has lots of potholes so take care to drive slowly especially if in a low car. The campsite was easy to find and in a nice location, it's quiet and peaceful. The facilities are basic and fairly clean. There are only two toilets with showers inside these - so if two people are showering then toilets are out of use for the duration of this time. However, they are fully working with warm water. I would note there are no hand towels for drying hands after washing. The field itself is large and has plenty space to pitch a tent away from others. About 5 minutes drive to local area.

Good no frills campsite

Medium Tent - Grass Tent Pitches (Family)Aug 2023

Lovely views, chilled atmosphere. Basic campsite in a good location for nice walks. We went to Reekie Linn waterfall and to Cargills Leap and the Knock, both recommended short walks. No frills camping which is the way we like it. As long as we can have toilets, a sink and afire, which we could. Hot showers a bonus, although hot had run out by evening unsurprisingly. Dog liked the dog park too.

Great location and peaceful site

Small Tent - Grass Tent Pitches (Adult Only)Jul 2023

Great little campsite, nice and quiet - except for one evening when an inconsiderate, drunken couple with loud music spoilt it for all on the site, but otherwise a fab location.

Had a great camping trip. Friendly and helpful owners.

Beautiful remote location, a good compromise between wind camping and campsite

Medium Tent - Grass Tent Pitches (Family)Aug 2022

The campsite is in the middle of fields in the Perthshire countryside with beautiful views. Tents are well spread out with lots of space. A major advantage of this campsite is that Fires and BBQ are allowed. The facilities are quite basic. Nice showers and toilets on site. There is no check in or office and no water or electricity to most of the site (apart from the shower/ toilet area) Not really any dishwashing area, and no possibility of washing any clothes. It was a good compromise between campsite and wild camping. The town of Blairgowery is just a few minuets to drive and has supermarket etc. We recommend to visit Reekie Linn waterfall and backwater reservoir as well as Couper Angus playground for the kids.

Amazing for our nervous rescue dog

Large Tent - Fenced Grass Pitches (Family)Apr 2022

Had a great time at GG and Belles campsite, the owner was lovely even though she has her hands full with the farm! The facilities are some of best I've seen and the fenced-in pitch was perfect for our dog. Only issue was when we arrived we had to clean up the last persons dog mess, but that's not the campsite's fault. Would book again!

Motorhome - Fenced Grass Pitches (Adult Only)Mar 2022

This was our first adventure with a motorhome and we also had three dogs. The enclosed fenced compound was brilliant. Our dogs could roam the area without any issues. The site currently has two of these compounds and for our first adventure, this was brilliant. The sunshine helped as well 😎. There is no electric hook up and no hard standing areas apart from the car park, but apart from that I would highly recommend it for dog lovers. There are two shower/toilet cubicles, which are spotless. Spring water on tap and a waste disposal area. Lots to do in Rattray and Blairgowrie, with plenty of walks. It's a site developed for dogs with human friends. We will be back 👍🏻
