Ecclesden Farm Caravan and Camping is located in the South Downs National Park, an excellent spot for those wanting to explore the West Sussex countryside and coastline. There are grass pitches for both campers and tourers, some of which also come with electric hookups so you can hold on to some luxuries. Sit back and relax at this picturesque rural campsite, ten minutes drive from the beach at Goring-by-Sea, Littlehampton and Worthing.

1st weekend with campervan, if this is the standard to expect from all sites we will be pleased. Great location for Arundel and its castle and cathedral and the local beach (pebbled and quiet).
Can’t really fault the site.

The site is situated on 350 acre farmland set within the South Downs National Park so you get lovely sprawling views and excellent walks….for those choosing that! We were told there were a couple of pubs serving food within 20 mins walk, both dog friendly and we chose The Spotted Cow which is via a very uneven and narrow pathway halfway there, so not suitable after dark as there are NO lights around. The site is clean, friendly and spaced out well with good sized pitches. The facilities are clean and modern. Price-wise, it’s at the dearer daily rate price but we’d definitely go back. Lots of great beaches close by and supermarkets are not far to drive to.

Stayed for 2 nights in the Cub field. The field was nice and quiet, while the other was a bit busier. Staff were very helpful when needed. Toilets weren't always the cleanest, but were good for a campsite, though often smelled. The site is down a bumpy track road and not close to much if you are walking.

A warm welcoming at reception with detailed explanation of facilities was given. The site was busy with it being a bank holiday weekend though everyone was quiet after 10.30pm. The play park was great for my 7 year old daughter, though I didn’t always have full view of the park due to it being so busy so walkie talkies came in handy. Bathroom and sinks were in good condition but needed to be cleaned more regularly due to it being so busy. Easy access via car to the beach, Arundel castle and Chichester.

Excellent facilities clean toilets and fab hot showers. Spacious pitches and friendly staff, good location with many places to visit. Our dogs loved the country walk just off the side of park. Would visit again.

Location-wise, this site is ideal for trips to the beach (eg Goring on Sea) or for events at Goodwood. There is also a down to earth, friendly pub within a 15 minute walk (no main roads). Decent sized pitch, didn't feel cramped, even though the site was quite busy during our stay. We did notice at night there is noise from the main road and the site is under/near a flight path, but it didn't keep us awake. Shower/toilet facilities top notch and well maintained - good water pressure and hot water. Normally, we stick to adult only campsites due to noise etc (plus our dog is not a huge fan of kids!) But all in all, pretty quiet and we would happily stay here again.

A lovely site in the perfect location for exploring Worthing. Brighton would also have been an easy day out. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean. No problems with EHU. Kids loved the play park. Look forward to staying again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely big pitches. Toilets/showers are probably the cleanest we've seen on a campsite. Nice little fire pits are available to hire. Planning to go back next month.

Lovely little family run site. Basic facilities, but all to a good standard. Small shop on site for bits and pieces is well priced. Only slight negative is a bit of road noise, but nothing close to being a deal breaker.

Really relaxed and friendly hosts. Facilities immaculate. Dog friendly. Bouncy castle for up to 12 years. Play area looks great, can't wait until next year when it will be back in use. They have black bags to help yourself to, something we have forgotten to take on occasion, a lovely touch! Shop selling essentials and ice lollies. Freezer for ice packs. Will be returning 100%.

Excellent campsite, all the facilities you could need. Very impressed. It was well laid out with great facilities that were all easy to find. Very clean and tidy, great size pitches and only a short drive to the beach or short walk to village shops and pubs. Loved this campsite, will be returning.
Chilled camping

Lots of space and you can choose where you pitch and in which direction, unlike other sites with so many rules!! All very chilled. Site is sloping so some careful pitching is required. Our stay included a Sat night with lots of groups/ families and fire pits which all finished for a good night's sleep but, being asthmatic, we had to shut ourselves in and close windows. Wonderful for family get togethers, a great children's area and a good washing up area. Showers are individual boxes without high ceilings so get very condensated. Don't advise to hang clothing on hook on the wall as they get damp! Take a bag to put stuff in and dress minimal. Owners very friendly and helpful. A delightful find.
