Bos Verbas offers members only camping along with two beautiful handmade shepherd's huts and a one bedroom holiday apartment. The stunning sea views across to Praa Sands and refreshing sea air make the site a delight to visit. Perfect for exploring spectacular West Cornwall and beyond.
Bos Verbas is a small,adult only quiet campsite with large flat grass pitches with electric hook-ups available. It's in a stunning location, set on 2.5 acres of flat grass land. Occupying an elevated, south facing, position on the south coast above Praa Sands, a mile long sandy surfing beach. With panoramic countryside and coastal views out across the Atlantic, over an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you can take time to relax and appreciate the sunsets and bird song. It's conveniently located 200m off the main Penzance to Helston Road (A394), far enough away not to be disturbed by traffic noise, while providing easy access to the whole of the west of Cornwall, both north and south coasts, Lands End and the Lizard Peninsula. It is a fifteen minute walk to Praa Sands, where you can access the coastal path, or a short drive to nearby beaches including Marazion and Perranuthnoe. There are two shepherd's huts, along with a small separate campsite which provides large grass pitches for tents, camper vans, caravans and motorhomes, with electric. Both huts (Mr Blue Sky and Forget Me Not) accommodate two and have been hand made in the Cotswolds, furnished to a very high standard. The interior is furnished with a seaside theme to compliment the location and you will find everything you need to enjoy a wonderful holiday. Mr Blue Sky is fitted with a king-size bed and Forget me Not with a double bed and both huts have a private bathroom with walk-in shower and flushing toilet. Inside the huts there is a kitchenette with cold water supply, fridge, microwave and two ring ceramic hob along with all the cooking utensils and cutlery. Mr Blue Sky adds a Freeview TV/DVD and WiFi. Outside you have a BBQ and firepit with a complimentary basket of logs. Towels, bed linen, soap and toilet rolls are provided. All you need to bring with you are beach towels and sun cream! Whatever your passion, be it peace and tranquillity, walking and breathtaking scenery, sand, sea and surf, local heritage and history, gardens and plants, this site has easy access to it all.
The Campsite is open from 20th May and the Shepherd Huts are open from 29th April.

The campsite is a Camping and Caravanning Club certificated site. We can only accept guests that are members, and we expect all guests to abide by their rules.
The Shepherd's huts are non smoking and no pets allowed in them.
You can walk to Praa Sands beach which has a surf school, seafront bar and restaurant, as well as a beachside cafe (perfect for breakfast). The beach has its own lifeguards.
Numerous tourist destinations are within easy reach, including St Michael's Mount, the fishing village of Porthleven with its many pubs and restaurants, artistic St Ives, Lands End and the Minack Theatre. West Cornwall also has a rich mining history with various visitor attractions including the Geevor Tin Mine and the Telegraph Museum at Porthcurno.
For all you plant lovers, you will be spoilt for choice with nine exotic Cornish gardens within a fifteen mile radius. The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and many others are further afield for an easy day trip. There are also several good plant retail outlets close by including Trevenna Cross Nurseries, Surreal Succulents and The Hardy Exotic Nursery.
Across the road is an eight hole golf course which welcomes temporary members.
There are many great places to eat and drink in the area especially in Porthleven and Falmouth.
Marazion is a short drive away and a must visit. Explore St Michael's Mount via the causeway or via boat when the tide is in - it's awesome! The golden sands at St Ives are also a must, with many bars and eateries, plus the Tate. Try a seal watching trip from the harbour there.
There are many surfing beaches around here as well as good swimming, so it's a good all round mix. Lands End and the Lizard offer spectacular scenery, no matter what the weather does.
If you're feeling really adventurous, get a boat or plane to the Isles of Scilly.
