Glenesk Caravan Park is a wildlife haven and woodland park with a fishing loch onsite, 20 minutes from the Cairngorms National Park. Grass and gravel pitches welcome tents and tourers alike, with simple camping pods for those looking to travel light. Guests can enjoy a tasty bite to eat at the onsite cafe, with free fishing and a play park too. The site is both family and dog friendly, with the coast 25 minutes away for days out!

excellent location. easy to find. lovely outlook onto a pond. Nice walks a short drive or wooded walk from the campsite. lovely cafe on site with tasty food.

I love wildcamping but my son has Autism so having facilities when he's with me is a must. This campsite is beautiful. You have a lovely pond, forests and plenty of walks nearby. Checking in was super easy and the facilities were clean and all you needed for your stay. The area is stunning with a 25 min or so drive to the hills or to the beach. The site also has a cafe with an amazing breakfast menu which is cheaper and superior to the choices in the nearest town of Edzell. We'll definitely be back to and time again.

Good stay, had no issues. Grass non electric pitches don't have the pondside view. Would have been better if every person on the campsite is treated with equal opportunities for views or space, as some pitches were uneven. But as there was no rush, we found a good one after some time.

Great location with the most stunning river walk not far away. Beautiful, quiet place and you can also fishing there. Highly recommended, and I will definitely back there soon.

I stayed here with my two dogs on the way up to Aberdeen. The pod was spacious and very functional. Facilities were clean and the waking in the area was great for the dogs. I would definitely stay here again.

Great time had by all. My grandsons and nieces loved it, playing in the stream and running around. Safe and enclosed for children. Dog loved it, so many walks. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Site is very clean and lovely and quiet. Will definitely be back.

Lovely setting and location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The new crew is great. Shower block was dated but adequate and very clean. Would visit again.

Lovely stay despite the rain

Enjoyed our 2 night stay in one of the larger pods. Pods clean, dry with a fab addition of fridge, kettle and microwave, which made catering a lot easier as it was raining outside. Beds comfy. Facilities clean and sufficient. Nicely laid out, green site. Staff friendly. Cafe very nice. Didn't see any recycling facilities which is surprising in this day and age. Lots of nice walks in area and a good chippie in Edzell.

You get exactly what you pay for and more! Glenesk is a very simple campsite but everything you need is there. Such a gorgeous location too. We have recommended to our friends and will definitely return another time.
