There is something for everyone around this peaceful, relaxing Club Site. A burn (stream) runs the full length of the site and there is plenty to see in the area, which is home to a variety of wildlife.
The town of Lauder is four miles from site, where you can enjoy history, scenery and sightseeing options, including the 13th century Thirlestane Castle, one of the seven great houses of Scotland. The town also hosts a traditional Common Riding Festival during the summer. Walking options include the Southern Upland Way - which passes near the site - the Lammermuir Hills, and further afield Arthur's Seat offers fabulous views of Edinburgh. The Scottish capital is just a bus ride away from site, with a variety of attractions including the castle, medieval buildings of the Royal Mile and a variety of shopping options. Non-members welcome.
