Scarborough Camping and Caravanning Club Site lies just north of the Victorian seaside town after which it is named and is an ideal base for exploring the cliffs and beaches of Yorkshire's coast, as well as the North York Moors.
The beach is only a 15-minute cliff-top walk from the site, while the town of Scarborough, which has two sandy bays divided by the castle headland, is three miles away. The town is home to a variety of attractions, including Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary, Scarborough Castle, the Rotunda Museum and miniature railway the North Bay Railway. Grass pitches offer a choice of electric or non electric options and there are also hardstanding pitches with electric. Try the glamping safari tents for the perfect hassle free break with real beds and furnishings, sleeping six. Non-members welcome.

The Open Air Theatre puts on a variety of shows during the summer and when you're not entranced by the action on stage, there are a host of walking options in the area.
The Cleveland Way National Trail is ten minutes' walk from site, the North Yorkshire Moors National Park is ideal for ramblers and cyclists, and you can view seabirds such as puffins and gannets at the RSPB nature reserve at Bempton Cliffs.
