Camp above vines overlooking the beautiful Devon countryside and the peaks of Dartmoor. Ten Acre Vineyard is a one-acre campsite for only ten pitches, so there is lots of space for everyone. There are three glamping tents for hire for a bit of luxury, or pick your spot on one of the seven spacious grass pitches.
Ten Acres Vineyard offers you the opportunity to camp somewhere a bit different. The site is located in the quiet beautiful Devon countryside, down a long track and well away from traffic. The loudest noise you'll usually hear is the sound of skylarks and swallows swooping and twittering overhead. The site has two bell tents (unfurnished) and a safari tent (furnished), all of which come with a heavy-duty zipped in groundsheet and an attached awning for shade, shelter and privacy. Also included is a brazier/BBQ - for a truly authentic camping experience. There are seven additional non-electric, grass pitches for tents and campervans. Electric hook-ups aren't available, but guests can use two electric sockets and a freezer in one of the site's outbuildings. From your tent, you look out over the vineyard and the pretty countryside, to Dartmoor beyond. It's a fantastic setting to light a campfire, get the BBQ fired up and open a bottle of wine, ready to chew the fat with family and friends. If you are looking for peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings in which to relax and unwind, Ten Acres Vineyard could just be the perfect choice!
Open from 1 May to 30 September
Spacious non-electric grass pitches for tents and campervans only.

During your stay, why not join a guided vineyard and winery tour? Ten Acres tours take place every Saturday at 5pm and last about an hour.
Toby (the winemaker) takes you around the vineyard and into the winery to show you what they do. After the tour, there is a guided wine tasting, where you can taste three of the wines. A tour costs £5 per person and can be a great way to make a camping trip a memorable unique experience.
If you like walking, there are some wonderful local countryside walks in woodland and along riversides. For the more adventurous, both Dartmoor and Exmoor are within easy reach as is the beautiful North Devon coast, excellent for walking and surfing (as well as lazing with a good book!).
The fantastic Tarka Trail is a cycle path along the old rural railway line. It's a great way to explore the local area, cycling through countryside and along the coast. Bring your own bikes or hire some from family run competitively-priced cycle hire centres on the Tarka Trail itself.
The site has an array of leaflets for you to peruse and a big map on the wall with local places of interest marked.
